Dude you so blown. You said 500 million .... Half a trillion 😂😂
Dave: "You don't get rich scaming the government and the taxpayers"
Every modern politician ever: "Uhhhhh"
Guys like the first caller are a dime a dozen. What’s ironic is that the guy who called probably has complained numerous times in his life about corruption and crooked politicians.
Note how he started off with “the left” but then wanted to ride with scamming
Growing up, i had nobody actually teach me the value of integrity. Dave has been the first one. Thank you sir.
I have a CZcams playlist of Dave Ramsey rants. Not lying. I got back and watch them all the time for inspiration.
You're not the only one.
I guess the first caller didn’t realize he was proposing fraud. Happy Dave reacted strongly. The young man, maybe, was never taught.
Also, he was already getting so much. I hope he realized how lucky he is.
He is a conman knew what he was saying .. using the money to buy a car .. scammer
What’s sad is that it’s not fraud according to Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan. It’s completely legal.
How is it fraud if the car is for going back and forth to class?
@@jonathansands8983 Because Student loans aren't for cars.
Having Integrity is EVERYTHING!!
I feel like Dave Ramsey should be a required course in high school or even jr high. We talk about a budget or income like it’s taboo with our kids.
His classes are taught in a lot of schools
You could help make this happen in your local schools
Amen!
Or, hear me out, parents can take responsibility for not teaching their kids key life lessons.
@@MightyMoji some parents or a lot of parents don’t know any better. I didn’t know anything about credit untill I was 30, I didn’t know how to buy a house didn’t learn about saving or anything financially
When some people got the stimulus money, they blew it. I looked at it, looked at my life and realized, I could afford to pay for technical college classes. The next stimulus cash flowed my next semester. I graduated with an Associates degree and no student debt from it.
I dumped mine into tesla and other stocks and made 5k
Financial peace isn't the acquisition of stuff. It's learning to live on less than you make, so you can give money back and have money to invest. You can't win until you do this. --Dave Ramsey
Faxx
Integrity cost me a job one time. But I will always have my Morals, Integrity and Work Ethic. I need my foundation in everything I do.
"Integrity" ... Having worked as an I.T. consultant for more than 40 years now, I can ABSOLUTELY correlate that point. I look at the people that I dealt with who had it, and they did well, and those who didn't have it flamed out, despite the 'Bible on the lobby table' and other such intentional indicators. That is such a key point.
And Taxes: My accountant always says: "I hate paying taxes, but the fact that you have to means you are making money. The alternative is much worse!"
Whenever I have to make financial decisions I tend to watch his rant and do it correctly 😅
Anytime I want a new car, I watch his show.
Then I go get something with my current car to make me appreciate it more 😅
Dave I’m what many people would call left wing and I can honestly say you are awesome. you’ve helped millions of people get out of debt and drastically improve their lives-including me. Above all you are a truth teller and that is more important and valuable than anything else. There’s not enough of that in the world.
Love what Dave said on the first call about his taxes! That's for all those commenters out there who are always whining about how Dave takes every loophole on his taxes. There's a big difference between loopholes and doing something illegal.
While highly immoral and unethical, it's not illegal.
Wow, I had never heard the first call until now... that's disgusting of that caller to not even care about abusing the system. Makes me sad for our future as a society, I'm betting he's not the only one that thinks that way.
He even knew it was immoral and still wanted to take from the taxpayers. The left is disgusting
To me the sad thing is that the ultra rich and all large corporations work to minimize their tax bill at much as feasible. Is that immoral as well? I think it definitely is; everyone should pay their fair share. Any tax code will have unintended consequences and loopholes. Those with the most money just have the resources and ROI to make tax avoidance an annual occurrence.
Sadly he's probably not
Me too, and I listen to all episodes.
They take so much of our taxes it’s bs they already have enough with the normal taxes they take already from us
I can’t even believe the first caller asked that.
You can’t use your student loans for anything not related to school.
In canada you can use your student loan for whatever you want.
😂I love these rants. Dave should have been a comedian
Fanatical levels of integrity exists in those who look at the big picture, don’t do impulsive things, plan, delay gratification, play the long game, etc.
The third one I remember he did during the pandemic. I was listened to it while doing Uber eats in LA. I made so many tips during those days.
i love this! People are sitting on their thumb ( butt lol ) waiting on SOMEONE else to swoop in and fix their lifes. If you dont get up, get out there, kill something and drag it home, youre screwed! Ain't this the truth. my goodness!
I want to thank you guys so much for this, im on baby step #2
*From what I have noticed most people prefer to spend than invest, they prefer to be broke and work less, along with making idiotic spending choice.* 🤣🤣
That's So True....!
Dave's talk on personal responsibility goes way further than just finances. People lack it in nearly every aspect of their life. Though I do think that is what he teaches anyways.
Social Media unfortunately is the plague on peoples minds in terms of thinking you are not living life properly. Living within your means is about all you need to become rich. I'm so thankful I've followed that advice for over a decade. Hoping to nearly outright buy a home in the next few years thanks to it.
Thank you for sharing interesting content.
Thank you Dave!
That first call did not age well lol
Hopefully, he didn't do it lol
I remember being asked "want to look at my pigs?" like it was just yesterday. Oh my.
Great seeing Dave in action. Very strong in his debt-free principle. Great work!
Your borrow, your sorrow- Boo-Hoo. Pay what you owe people!!
With 81000 new IRS agents armed with guns they will find something you did wrong😅
Love Dave’s rant in the middle of this episode!!
Best motivational talks I’ve ever heard are Dave’s!
Suck it up Buttercup 😂
There are so many people that did that with student loans they shouldn't be forgiven. It's the democratic party paying its recruits
EXACTLY!!!! Buying votes!
Dave Ramsey discovering micro transactions is hilarious
Amen on TurboTax!
Thanks
Captain Hindsight in operation 😅
hard for me to believe the number 1 predictor of great welth is integrity. It appears that most people that are extremely rich are not the most integrous. How on earth do you research individual integrity without doing a deep investigation to learn if your subjects are lying?
So glad the first guy called and got the Ramsey special. That’s the problem. I paid my way through 9 years of college and came out debt free with a high paying job and I didn’t expect ANYONE to pay ANYTHING for me. I think because I was raised that way and my parents and grandparents saw that was my mindset they felt good about helping from time to time when my car was broke down or I needed an extra room to stay in because I didn’t want to sign a new lease in a bad area when I was almost there in terms of success. Young people are killing us. They’re bleeding us because they don’t care AT ALL to use our money but you wait. One day it’ll be them and their jaw will drop when they’re hit with the concept from the other end of the stick.
The balls all on the first caller. Sheesh.
Oooh!!! Virtual exercise, virtual weight loss, baby virtually sleeping through the night…. Sign me up 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Hilarious how the video starts with Dave saying no one got rich scamming the government, and toward the end talks about how people got rich scamming the government
My neighbors are retired and recently they had to take a second mortgage on their property because they spent a very large amount of money on a game. I think it’s farm vill or something like that. Their plan was to sell what they “invested in” they lost big time. I’m pretty confident they lost 200k.
Im so glad that i dont have to make the same mistake that you made . Thank you for sharing ur history. ❤ i can simply follow baby steps. I dont have time to invest wrong, to learn from my mistakes, thank you!!!!
Just wait until everybody has grown up with vr. That will be the biggest disconnect from reality.
Amen to all, especially the part we're not supposed to talk about.
The Ramsey Show is Wisdom.
My father always says, “how much is your integrity worth?” I hope that young man realizes his integrity is worth more than $10,000
George is awesome
Farmville was a game for adults.
21:14 rant reminded me of that apparently fat kid lol😂
33:00 onwards yoo. Damn. That's mad
The in app microtransactions for a game are for entertainment. Like going to the movies.
An integer is a countable number (1, 2, 3, etc.) but also including zero and negative numbers. "Whole" numbers are the subset of integers NOT including negative numbers. "Natural" numbers are whole numbers, but not including zero. Fun, seemingly arbitrary stuff.
I once heard a story that lots of college students were buying Bitcoin with their college loans. I can't think of a stupider way to waste a college loan.
Oh Dave it’s old women playing FarmVille. 🤦🏻♀️🤣🤣
Well technically the entire video game industry is made up of something that isn't really there
I just did the math. $1,770,000,000,000 (yes trillion) in current student loan debt DIVIDED by 158,000,000 (million, for the ignorant college students......) working Americans equals over $11,000 per working American citizen. I'm a Highschool dropout, making a $100,000 salary. Why the fuck am I paying for you????
I follow the DR show and I agree with most of his teachings, and he has taught me much. But I think he is wrong about credit cards. I pay my balance in full each month. What is wrong with getting rewards of 2 to 5% for each purchase? Also, credit cards make life much easier and safer than carrying a wallet full of money. One more thing why would I drive a 20-year-old car, when I could buy a new car every 4 or 5 years with the latest technology and safety features? I do save and spent sensibly so I could afford these luxuries.
Yeah, that first guy would've pissed me off.
Why do I have to pay taxes if they just print the money
It's about power and control. Even the almighty Al Capone was brought down not because of his ties with the bootleggers and the Mob, but, get this, income tax evasion.
Your whole business model is about wealth redistribution. I’m a lefty and back your model. Don’t write us all off!
this is an extreme case of misuse of student loans, vast majority of students, only have this option for higher education.
as much as I like Dave Ramsey, he is against student loans no matter what.
Hello 👋 Mr. Ramsey! The forgiveness has been postponed to October 23, 2022.
Yes kids today are so much more sophisticated than we were. We payed actual money to furnish our doll or Barbie houses ( that we actually had in our hands) versus paying actual money to funish something that doesn't actually exist. Vicki
Dave Ramsey rants about metaverse - There's a WHOLE BIG group of people using real money to buy fake "poker" money to play poker games online!
I just want to comment on some of the FarmVille stuff. I see a lot of older people that laugh and joke when people buy things in games and spend real money, but what isn’t talked about is at the end of the day it’s entertainment. So spending $20 on a game item or skin or whatever is no different than spending that same $20 on a movie ticket. Both way you have nothing physical to show for it. You either have a memory of a movie or you have a fantasy item which at the end of the day neither of them help you out in any real life situation. But I do agree with Dave where like anything this can become a problem and people can get too wrapped up in what they have in game and forget that it’s not real but I think that’s the 1% extreme of gamers.
But on taxes. At what point does it become your duty not to fund a tyrannical government
Abuse of free taxpayer money? No wayyy.
I wonder how he feels about the child credit lol give ppl with kids 300 each a month
✝️🙏
I only know middle-aged adults that played farmville.
excuse me, but I have a couple of patients dying of Covid now, 10/2/2023
CZcams censor all comments 😅
If everyones stealing the governments money why shouldn't i also, if i have to pay for it in taxes, then why shouldn't i extort it
If your friends are jumping off the cliff are you gonna do it as well?
How do you feel about getting a loan from your 401k to consolidate debt and and pay yourself interest? Then work at paying that off faster.
$500M is half a Trillion?
Just don't roll all lefties in together. We aren't all that stupid
i wonder if ramsey applies his thinking for immigrants.
CAN I GET AN AMEN!?
Jacob wasnt decietful according to the bible. It was his father in law-Lavan, who decieted Jacob.
I before e except after c. Also it is "deceived"
Shame on you, first caller!!
In all of his videos Dave says to invest 15% of your income. I thought I've heard him say that's 15% of your GROSS INCOME! This doesn't make sense! Doesn't he realize that Uncle Sam takes a big chunk of your income!!! Maybe I've heard wrong! Can someone confirm that he says 15% of Goss Income? It makes more sense if it's 15% of what one NETS.
Yes it's 15% of your gross income because that 15% comes out pre-tax, that is, before uncle Sam touches it. This lowers your taxable income for the year. You wouldn't want it coming out after taxes! Google an investment calculator and you will see.
Dave remember Jesus calls us sheep, but in a good way.
This is the mindset this Administration has developed. Me, Me, Me. Zero integrity.
Wait til u find out about vbucks and robux
Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day praying for everyone everyday God bless you all
So what?
That has everything to do with this video! Thanks!
Yet ppl keep sining
@@ethangamer3173 *Sinning
Uhhh, I think you’re in the wrong chat.
Considering tons of students use their allocated student loans to go to concerts, party, and fund their drug addictions it ain't that bad to pay off a car. Not much different from business owners buying things for "work" and making them as a write off.
No it’s called fraud
Big difference
Dave, there are some people that don't want to be wealthy....they are happy collecting welfare and living free on section 8.
Crook paid adds. For there's characters..
I believe the very 1st caller was fictitious. I think he made that up to try to throw a wrench in anybody getting student loan debt relief because that's one of the main topics that they're having as to Y they did not want to pass it because they felt like most of the people would waste the money that they were forgiven.
LOL!!! This guy is just a SCAMMER
virtual goods: Music is virtual if that helps your brain process why people spend money on virtual goods. Might not be the effect that music has, but there is an effect.
First caller: I saw so it and get the car. Gov is so corrupt they have millions in off short accounts from deals with other countries, they forget where trillions of tax payer money went. The citizens get jack for all the taxes we pay, so if you can a measily car out the deal, get it. Why should the poor be the only ones stomped into the ground for not having integrity?
As Dave probably hits every loophole in the tax code to avoid paying taxes…..🤡
If by loophole you mean legal things in the tax code then of course he does. We all do.
That's legal....
Tax evasion is illegal. Tax avoidance is legal and encouraged.
Don’t understand the hate on the first called. Transportation is a school related expense.
Not when he admitted he lives on campus free
Not at the cost of tax payers!
WHEN Jesus Christ REDEEMS YOUR LIFE IT IS CHANGED FOREVER AMEN HALLELUJAH praise God praying for everyone everyday God bless you all
So what?
Is taking the tax payer’s money to pay off a student loan really that different from using real-estate loopholes to reduce your tax burden?
The first caller isn’t suggesting something illegal, just like loopholes aren’t illegal.
Actually it is illegal. Student loans are only for use to pay costs directly related to school - tuition, housing and books - not cars. The loan agreements state this very clearly.
I love when old people become disconnected with the changing times. Virtual is the same as make believe, which is what old Dave Ramesey had to do when he was younger. Then the minion has to tag along cause he’s a beta follower. Way to be a good Christian by tagging together and laughing at others.
Well said brother, even Buffett has gone back on his word recently.
even Dave has integrity issues. remember how you dealt with Chris hogan's wife after your company learned of his affairs with another woman dave?
What was the issue with how they dealt with him?
@@shnooby2 they threatened her with legal action if she talked. It's legal, but threatening nonetheless. Alot of people would view this as immoral
Wow! I just Googled it! I had never heard of this. Thanks for the rabbit hole :)
@@jasonmorgan5058 I see. I wasn't aware of the whole situation.
@@shnooby2 no problem. I understand that he was protecting his company, but I think it was the wrong thing to do. I'm a dave ramsey fan, but this was almost unbelievable when I first read about it.
The first rant against the guy who wanted to take out a student loan to possibly get $10k. He goes on and on how that’s wrong, but then admits he tries to pay as little taxes as possible, legally. So “he can sleep at night”. What is illegal about what the student was considering? I’m not even saying he should do it, but Dave has double standards here. He probably saves millions every year from tax loopholes. Which ones are biblical and just while a $10k student loan forgiveness is evil and immoral?
Again, not saying the student should do it as it’s not in the spirit of what student loan forgiveness is for. But let’s not sit here and pretend multi-millionaires and billionaires don’t take advantage of every single tax loophole money can buy.
It's illegal because they specifically say that you're not allowed to use student loan money for non-student related expenses. A car is not a student expense, it's an asset.
My guess is because it’s fraud
You don’t see a difference between the two?
In one scenario, someone is borrowing someone else’s money they didn’t earn, then putting it on the government’s bill in hopes that tax-payers will take care of it and he gets a free car in the process.
In the other scenario, someone tries to keep the most amount of the money THEY earned as possible that the government then takes to use to write off the debt of someone scamming the system for a new car as opposed to an education.
Because the former is fraud, and the second is being smart with Your own money! Simple as that!
Old man shouts about people who went into debt.
After an old man that went into debt and filed bankruptcy.
@@jimmymcgill6778 and now he’s worth several hundred million…. What’s your point?
@@christianplummer4199 He was in debt at one point to.
But he was talking about taking the PPP loan and stimulus.
@@jimmymcgill6778
