*** Why Hunt Hogs? ***
My journey into wild/feral hog hunting started like many others living in rural communities. I didn't start hog hunting for fun or sport... I did it because I had to. My father-in-law started me on this path several years ago when he asked me to help out with a problem. You see, hogs cause millions of dollars of damage and destruction each year in rural communities and our situation was no different. Hogs were destroying our land, our family's land, and the land our family tree farming business. The vast majority of hunting videos that you see on this channel are hogs, boars and sows, taken from family land... this problem is personal for me. We have had hogs come as close as 20 feet from my front door, and having 2 small children at home and knowing how aggressive and dangerous hogs can be, getting rid of the problem was a safety concern. This is why when people ask how I got into hog hunting... my answer is always "I didn't get into it because I wanted to, I started doing it because I had to!". It's a personal fight and struggle...

*** Why Hunt Coyotes and Predators? ***
Coyotes and Predators, similar to hogs, cause financial stress for many families in rural communities. Coyotes kill livestock, plain and simple. Ranchers have battled coyotes killing cattle since the early days of ranching and it costs them dearly. Cattle ranching is a business, the cows aren't pets, every time they lose a calf to a coyote those families lose a paycheck. Cattle ranchers hate coyotes just as much as Farmers hate hogs! I hunt coyotes to protect the livelihood of my friends and neighbors that depend on their cattle business to feed their family...

*** Comin' Up Next ***
Next week it's back to more Thermal Hog Hunting right here in East Texas and coming soon is my full review of the Bering Optics Super Yoter. Thank y'all for watching!
-Hans
Thank y'all for watching and subscribing! Next up is the first hunts and review of the iRay Rico MK1 RH35 Thermal Scope...
Are you reviewing the Agm adder 35-384
Why someone shoots a bobcat?
@@christophercohen8712 bobcat’s are more aggressive predators than coyote coyotes usually try to find wounded animals where bobcats will attack healthy deer
@@hunnerhall841 For hunting only the fit and healthy I respect the cats even more!!! And I’m not judging you by the way
@@hunnerhall841 Coyote also find domestic dog, cat, got, lamb and Calf born to eat, etcetera.
Great video!! Just watched episode 197,you mentioned this,so I checked it out. Been looking into the Super Hogster, now I'll have to look into the Super Yoter.
I love mine! Ordered it from y'all and was a great experience! Upgraded the batteries to 16650 and the battery life more than doubles.
Thank you for the business! We really appreciate it
whats the process to the upgrade?
I haven’t seen one yet but it sure looks a lot like the RICO RH50 I have. Thank you Hans for the great review
WOW!!! what a great image, liked the review as well. Is this scope better than the AGM varmint 50mm 640?
Although I'm unlikely to ever own one, it's interesting to see and hear about thermal scopes
Thanks Hans, Another great video..
I just bought this scope last Sunday. I can see deer and raccoons close to a mile away. Blows my Pulsar Helion 2 XP away on detection range.
Thank you for watching Roger!
Hows the battery life compared to your Helion??
@@CoyoteRegulator doesn't stand a chance on CR123s but I run a 5000mAH batter pack that last for couple of days.
What's the furthest you shot with it? Would it be able to do man sized steel at 500 you think?
@@0n3racing67 I like to keep my shots within 200 yards with it for coyotes. You could certainly hit something at 500 yards but no reason to risk that when hunting.
Appreciate all the info you bring to us night time predator hunters.
Looks like the image is pretty soft. I like a soft background but the target animal doesn’t seem to pop out really well. Maybe it’s just me but is that because you have the contrast set way down or is it just normally like that?
Great content by the way thank you
Need to look into the fusion thermal scopes.
Is there a range finder on this scope?
Appreciate the help today! Now just need my taxes to show up
No problem! Thanks for the call…
Hans Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Chris!
The super yoter R that is 35mm is 600 dollars more than super hogster a3 ....is it worth it with both bein 35mm
Hi Hans . I keep meaning to ask you or Jason. Do you guys have the Pulsar F455 forward unit in the States, a couple of my US hunting clients and friends have asked if it is available there
I may have missed it but. Is it a pain yo get zero
Shots out to 300 on a hog.... Great.
What about hitting man sized steel past that? I've shot under pvs37's out to 800m granted it was full moon conditions. Would the Super Yoter be suitable for 500m?
I’m having troubles finding the videos I took on the scope, any advice? I know it took the video but when I go to check I can only see the videos from the previous owner not my own
what caliber are you using in the videos? every coyote shot at took multiples. kinda weird.
How does this scope do in SUB zero temperatures? I need a high base mag for coyote hunting the flat land up here in ND.
He literally talked about it in the video.
Love ya'lls videos. But they don't always say where the products are made. I know that's a huge decision factor for a lot of people especially spending 2000 + dollars on anything. They want to know where it's made and warranty. It's just my 2 cents... Appreciate you guys!
Completely understand, and you’re right. It needs to be mentioned…
Would you be willing to offer up a thermal scope recommendation for me - given my priorities. 1) well built, high quality, durable. 2) image quality while using the scope (I have no plans to record and/or share my adventures .. I only care about the quality of image while the scope is in-use). 3) easy to operate. 4) value - I’m absolutely willing to pay a premium for a premium product … It’s just that I want to spend the money for the priorities related to my specific needs. Thank you in advance.
People just need to make up their minds and make decisions before they drop down the bucks for a scope. You cannot take anyone's word for what will work for y9u because we are all different. Thanks for being so honest in your descriptions. Everyone should be able to make a decision as to how far they can REALLY shot when it comes to hunting. Then knock off about 50 yards.
I would love to hunt with you, huge fan of the show.
Thank you so much Cade!
How many yards out was the Somalian at 5:03! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Would this make a decent self defense optic? Are they pretty tough? Weather proof? Thanks.
Yes I believe it would
@@HansETX thank you brother
What do you have for us poor people around $500-$800?
Get night vision with an upgraded ir light
Thats what i use untili get a thermal scope. I'm also running a thermal monocular for scanning
@@malvernschmucker792 which monocular are you using Malvern?
@@michaelbattin6717 agm taipan tm25-384
@@malvernschmucker792 thank you
Are you going to review the Agm varmit and adder
Yes sir
Easier use out of the thermeon line... I have that form factor and it's harder to use
Does the varmint have a scroll wheel button?
When’s the review for the AGM Varmint TS35-384 LRF? Just saw this scope is coming into the market and it’s right at my max budget. That LRF and more base mag should be perfect. Call it the super hogster killer.
And 5 months later a 640 is in your price range... Don't waste money on anything less
@@breckfreeride already got the Varmint. There will always be bigger and better in the future. Every 6 months to a year. So why not wait another 6 months for the next best thing?
@@Rigs__Rigs can we get TP in a plandemic?
@@breckfreeride what’re you asking??
@@Rigs__Rigs that 384 is 3500 ish and the 640 is about 5200, so less than double the cost gets double the resolution which means double the identification range. Sure there will be something better in six months, but these options are here now. The price may drop or they may become illegal or unavailable, you never know. Look at the guys who bought the thermeon 2, and then have the "pro" and "lrf" version come out prices didn't really drop vs the older ones, infact budget, mid and top tier prices have been pretty stable over the last few years unless you compare it to the cost of a gallon of gas! That being said the only real difference between this scope and my predator opmod from 10 years ago is the 12 micron pixel pitch and the lrf. The opmod was about 1k cheaper too. Personally, if you're hung up on the lrf I'd get the 50 mil 640 version as the 2.5x will give ya just a bit more range and the image quality is just that much better. Buy once cry once?
Or say f it, itl break in 5 years just get something.
How does it work in snow or fog?
the Bering Optics scopes do better than most in fog and area where there is high humidity... Thanks for watching
What app does the yoter use on iphone?
Infiray outdoor
How come when you talk about the app, you don’t mention that the Bering app doesn’t work and that the iRay app is required?
People comments the app from Bering S.Yoder/Super Hogster is good without problems. but Pulsar apps have a issues.
If I’m not mistaken the scopes are made by iRay but distributed or marketed by Bering.
This or the AGM Rattler TS50-640?
Give us a call at Outdoor Legacy and we can help you make your decision 877-350-1818
Would love to see a side by side Hogster vs Yoter review here - let’s see the $1,500 up close! 🙏🏻
Great review and vids ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What magnification are these shit at you didn't add them so I am confused.
All at base magnification
The pulsar core is 1899.00 the perfect for beginners, i love mine and i also have a 6k 5x scope. i love it to. but you are in the game for 1899 and you are killling coyotes and its lightweight. I cant see spending 5K on a 3x scope anylonger.
Hey David, you are right, their are some decent scopes now in the 2k to 3k price range. You have the Rattler TS25 and TS35, the Hogster 25 and 35, and the new Pulsar Talion soon to be released. Unfortunately, your scope, the Pulsar Core, was discontinued quite a while ago. It’s no longer available for sale through Pulsar dealers. You still might be able to find one or two floating for sale somewhere at the big box stores but Pulsar is no longer sending them to the dealers to sell. I talk to folks everyday that buy $2k or $3k scopes that in a year or two want to upgrade to a 640 resolution thermal. Your Pulsar was a decent little thermal for $1900, but at 1.6x base power magnification, I would not say that it’s ideal for most coyote hunters. It’s great for you and that’s all that matters but most coyotes hunters want to start at least at 3x power base magnification. Thank you for watching and commenting. I do agree with alot of what you say, there are some great optics at entry level prices right now. Thank you sir!
Yep 640 is the way to go... I've got an old opmod 320 ish and this blows it away... That being said, sell a few pews and get a thermeon 2
Will it stand up to 308 recoil
Yes but nothing larger than .308. Thanks for watching Kenneth
Manufactured in China
thanks for watching Daniel
