I was in that crowd as a 9 year old kid, I remember I was on my Daddy’s shoulders. I’m glad I found this video...When President left he had his windows down & I felt like he waved right at me. What a great day for a 9 year old kid!

I joined the military under his watch and have been ever since. I have fought and risked my life many times for our freedom.. for our people, our freedom and our Constitution! Including the Bill of Rights. Especially the first and second amendment and will continue until I breathe my final breath.

I was there, and so was my wife! We were both kids, and we actually saw her in the video! She was near where the cameras were. I was on the right hand side.

I worked for a lot of years attending court in that very courthouse over the past couple decades and served in the 101st Airborne while President Reagan was in office. Wish I’d been able to attend this speech but I was in Infantry School at Ft. Benning GA.

I was there in the crowd as well. I was 7. My parents were democrats so my neighbor a republican brought me. Don't remember much at all. Glad I found this so I can hear it years later.

I was there that day as a 7 year old. My grandpa took me and my sister. My grandfather was a WW2 vet and was so proud of this moment. I've lived here in Athens all my life. That 40 years went fast.
