I think Chance and Rob are actually the quieter guys of the group, Adam is the quiet brilliant genius kid and Tim and Austin are the extroverts. People also forget that when Tim is singing lead, Chance is carrying the bass notes for the group. He is their secret sauce.
Chance is a quiet brilliant kid too.
@@beadwright Oh they are all brilliant
True!
The baritone is the secret sauce in many groups...
The girl in the video is Chances wife, Sami.
He shines in Cover Me Up also and with end credits.
Chance directed and sings the lead on their song “I Can’t Outrun You”. It’s an awesome not to be missed video. Also his collaboration with the Hound and the Fox on his personal channel of “Wayfaring Stranger” shows off his talents. Not only a great singer he is a great director.
100000% truth
@@miamidolphinsfan You took the words right out of my mouth!
Better bring a box of tissues for “I Can’t Outrun You”. 😢
Those two songs are definitely must-see videos. And yes to the tissues.
I love how everyone in this group gets the opportunity to shine, whoever suits the song best - takes the lead, or they take turns, but they all are lead and background singers, which makes them so versatile. Tim explained in an interview that when they are not sure, they all try out the lead to see who serves the song best. He mentioned with one song Rob took the first try and they just all sat back because there was no reason anymore for them to try as they all instantly decided it was "Rob's song". There are no divas in this group.
If I remember right Chance has said he likes to be in the background
Tim said Chance was their secret weapon!!
IMO Chance is Home Free secret "quiet" weapon, his addition to the group in 2016 marked a change in style and in song choice, and allowed the group to grow into their current identity. He has several songs in which he either is the lead, or shares the spotlight with Tim or Rob ("Yours," "Born in the USA," "Cover me up," "Dive bar saints," "Working for a living," "Helplessly hoping", "Castle on the Hill," "Woman, Amen/Female," "Blue ain't your color," "Brothers in arms," "Die a happy man," and I could go on LOL) but for some reason people have the impression that he doesn't have a strong presence in the group and is underutilized. This impression probably comes from the fact that some of these are songs that are rarely reacted to.) His smokey baritone/bass voice blends seamlessly with Tim's and makes a singular contribution to the songs, both as a baritone or as a bass, taking over when Tim has the lead or doubling Tim's lines. My very favorite song in which he takes the lead is "I can't outrun you," and I highly recommend that you check it out. Chance's solo work is outstanding, I recommend "Waifaring stranger," "Hurt." and "If I could only fly." 😺
I totally agree with you on Chance. While I really liked Chris, I feel they took off with Chance!
Chance's cover of 'If I Could Only Fly' is one of my absolute favorites. I hear shades of Neil Diamond's voice in it. Love it.
Yes, having a real bass/baritone in Chance gave them better coverage in that range, first off, and Chance's ability to legitimately cover the bass line adds so much more flexibility, letting Tim solo more frequently. And, honestly, he's a better singer than Chris Rupp.
Chance is a very accomplished bass!
One of the reasons they have survived so long as a group is that they really like each other.
This was Chance's first chance to take the lead after he joined the group. He was excellant in his backup singing in other songs, but this really showed his chops.
Truth to tell, while I love each of the members of Home Free, I have a special place in my heart for Chance.
To get his range check out Can't Stop the Feeling with his high tenor and instrument sounds, then check out Mayday for his bass. He was the bass for his previous vocal group. He also does a solo song Wayfaring Stranger which he recorded with the Fox and the Hound. He uses a breathy bass on this one. You might also like Home Free's Brothers in Arms.
I really like Home Free's cover of this catchy song. Chance does a great job taking the lead. Cute seeing his fiancée (now wife) in this one. Adam's beatboxing is awesome in this one as usual. And the rest of the guys in the background rounding it out with their harmonies.
Love , love , love Chance's smooth , smoky voice ... yes , I think he's much more laid back than the rest of the guys ! The great thing about Home Free is that they let you glimpse into their personal lives and personalities ... Chance seems to be quite creative and artistic beyond his vocal abilities !
Chance does a great job on so many Home Free songs already mentioned, but I must add my two cents to ask that you react to I Can't Outrun You and Helplessly Hoping, which were 2 of his projects. He also shines in Dive Bar Saints, Yours, and does a great job sharing the lead in One Man Band, Castle on the Hill, Hillbilly Bone and many more. Keep the Home Free coming; you will discover that they never disappoint.
Chance is a sourthern Alabama guy through and through. I have cousins in southern Georgia, that all have personalities very much like Chance. They are folks that don't trust quickly, and like to observe folks 1st. He's a great guy when I chatted with him briefly after a concert as he is also a lifelong Miami Dolphins "DolFan" as I am. But kinda shy - but it's a regional kinda thing
The other side of Chance is when he sings lead in Workin’ For A Livin’ ; it’s awesome! Great reactions, thanks!
All five men are highly talented, but it's still easy to get lost in the crowd when your spokesman is a natural bass like Tim and and a overly exuberant Austin.
HF is really good at inserting a different song, in this instance lines from "Cruise".
Awesome Reaction! Please more Home Free!
My Fellow Fries pretty much covered any remarks I was going to comment on!
Adam Chance is the newest member but fits like a glove!
peace
I loved Chance's persona when they all dressed up for "Delta Dawn featuring Brooke Eden" video. It really seemed to fit him.
The girl is Chance’s wife Sami. I love his smooth voice. Home Free is AMAZING!! Great reaction. Keep them coming.
Chance used to be a bass in his other group so he can go low. I love him in I Can’t Outrun You, Yours, Helplessly Hoping, Wayfaring Stranger (with the Hound + Fox). This is fun. Good reaction!🤩
The ‘response’ by the backing vocals in the last section comes from the song “Cruise”, which has been in their repertoire for many years.
Chance was in the "House Party" video before he joined the group. Chris Rupp was still a member, but, Chance is one of the people in the background.
That is Chance's wife in the video
He is just enjoying the song as the woman is his girlfriend who he married. A song that shows off his range is Cover Me Up, but watch to the very end as their is another video.
Be sure to listen to him singing American pie with Home Free Don McLean; Castle on the Hill; way Faring stranger; Can’t Outrun You. Nice reaction!
Also “Finally Free; “Die a Happy Man”; “Woman Amen, Female”! Enjoy!!
& “Workin for a Lining”
Finally Free is my favorite Chance lead.....it's awesome....and he gets all the ladies when he does that cheeky wink in Finally Free
Chance is so very awesome! You have to love him. The rest of the guys are awesome too! Love your reaction!
Other Chance moments
Home Free cover Born in the USA
when Chance was leaving Street Corner Symphony (as he was their Bass) : I believe in a thing called love watch for special guests both from sing off
and Chance Directed as well as lead : Cover Me Up with a special something after the credits
Chance has a 4 octave range and that's growing AND The Gal in this is Chance's wife Sami !
I think you're ready for Mayday. The reasons people recommend waiting on that one is because it holds a few surprises that people who don't know them often miss. I think you know enough to be properly shocked.
Chance is quieter but he is more on the chill side.
And he is actually a bass, it's just that Home Free needed a baritone
"Blue Ain't Your Color"
Chance and Rob are really underrated, give Blue Ain't Your Colour a watch for some Rob and chance highlights
The Chance collaboration with the Hound and the Fox to do 'Wayfaring Stranger ' and 'Sound of Silence ' is great. Best version of Wayfaring Stranger for sure.
I’ve always thought it telling that in “Folsom”, Chance’s height shows as 5’ when he’s about the same height as everyone else. 🤨
He steps into lead on videos and stage when it’s his turn. He’s engaging on Instagram.
Maybe it’s just the spot he’s put himself in as the new guy in a small group with a couple of big personalities.
Chance is AMAZING ❤🎉
I'm with you...I really enjoy Chance's voice. However, with each of the other vocalists being outstanding also, I can understand it's tough spreading the lead vocals around. Great reaction!
Chance has his own CZcams channel with his solo work and collaborations with The Hound and Fox
Love how they slide in some of their other songs in the background (my church and Country roads for example)
Voice teachers preach "Vowel Modification" and "Vowel Substitution" to change the resonators, switch from chest voice to head voice, improve the tone quality, etc.
HF arrangements are so unique, so far from SATB or barbershop that they sneak in without being noticed at first. They make a great sound difference ❤
You definitely need too react too Brother in arms this songs showcases Tim’s and Adam and the sick harmonies.
Also Chance sang bass in the group Street Corner Symphony, before He got into Home free .
Please, please do I can't outrun you or Brother in Arms. They show a very different style of homefree, more quiet and slow, but beautiful harmonies.
Chance was the bass for the group Street Corner Symphony.
Chance is introverted. The woman next to him is his wife Sami. He would rather take the back seat in the videos especially if they're dancing 😊
plz check out "Wayfaring Stranger" by Adam chance feat. @TheHoundTheFox & also the songs where he took the lead
-- I Can’t Outrun You
-- Cover me up
Chance has such a great story-telling voice. For a focus on his lower range, check out his cover of Wayfaring Stranger on his CZcams channel (Adam Chance). He gives a wink or two in this one and in a couple other songs. His personality, at least compared to the other guys, is a little less "in-your-face," at least in the videos I've seen.
This was not even Chance's best vocals. I can't Outrun You, Cover Me Up, Dive Bar Saints and Helplessly Hoping are some of his better vocals. That's Chances's wife (then girlfriend) so I think he was feeling pretty comfortable. Thanks for this reaction!
Having met all of them at a VIP event, Chance is such a cool dude (they all are). We talked music, and he's in to SO many different types of music. FUN FACT: his solo album comes out this year. Adam Rupp is on at least one track, and so far every thing I've heard from it is excellent. And if it hasn't been pointed out, that's Sami, his then girlfriend, now wife. I love the little shove she gives him, I believe they've known each other since they were like 14-16 and decided to turn it romantic at some point. Anyway, awesome guy.
The additional lyrics you didn't recognize are an homage to Home Free's first performance on The Sing Off. Look it up and you'll see.
To see everyone spotlighted, go "American Pie" featuring Don McLean
Chance covers the bass line when Tim sings lead... Chance has a 4 octave range. Tim has a 5 octave range 😊
Please react more to Diana Ankudinova!
She turns 20 on May 31st!
I want to surprise you with something new. Diana Ankudinova takes part in the show The Masked Singer. Only in the 6th episode of the show did fans recognize her.
Song: California Dreamin'.
Easy to find: California Kwstas
Kwstas Vagias is a fan channel.
No additional copyright protection required.
Diana sang this song in the 6th round of The Masked Singer, in the 9th round Diana sang this song as an encore, unmasked.
The call back lyrics are from competition on the song off season four, episode one. The song is by Florida Georgia Line.
Love that, so clever!
That is Chance's wife sitting on the tail gate with him.
If someone else has not said it. The lady in the truck with Chance is his wife.
A (rhymes with they) is how we Southern Americans would normally say it.
Have you met voice play accapella yet if not fire up , Valhalla calling, yes Geoff castelluchi the bass god and they do the production work them selfs minus make up you will love them
I think compared with Tim and Austin most people seem to be introverted and shy 😂
Cover me up. Woman amen/female. Or drivers license on chances YT channel. He's extremely talented ❤❤
Please reac putri Ariani American got talent 🙏
