Thank you. I am a fourth-year medical student all set to graduate. Three days ago, my father had a series of severe strokes. We don't know if he will make it. I'm so devastated. I also wish I could help in my home hospital, too, given the pandemic, but it's just way too much for me right now, which adds tremendously to my already crushing feelings of guilt and anguish. Music is my passion and always helps and brings people together, especially in times like this.
I'm so sorry about your dad. You do what gets you and your family through right now and don't feel guilt for it. "If you can't do what you love, do what you can" your mom needs you I'm sure. Having the worry of you getting sick on top of your dad is too much! Be there for her...be there for you..that's doing enough!

Sorry about your dad. I too was a medical student but had to quit because of health issues. Now I’m senior citizen and urge you not to give up. I get there is so much going on in your life and in the world, but try to push through. I will pray for your dad and that you will succeed.

This was so beautiful. My sister, brother, and grandfather all committed suicide and I have attempted it when I was younger. Later in my life I just keep thinking only if they held on a little longer they may have found their place in the world as I have and be happy.
