    Excellent videos👍🏼 I’m watching all of them and learning a lot. Your videos are much more informative and easier to follow than other videos I’ve seen. I like the fact that you include a section showing the Serato software as well as an overhead view of the controller so we can see exactly what you are doing and how it manipulates the software on screen.

    my numark kit doesnt have a button to turn off scratch, so does that mean i cant beat match using the jog wheel?

    question , but first let me thank you so much for your videos i'm watching all 21 in one sitting rn and looking forward to become a DJ (80's music is my jam), but back to my question; lets say im using songs with vocals how does one match the bpm of the songs? yeah they have to be similar and all but how does one prevent the vocals to from speeding or slowing, is it just by bringing it to the original bpm? im sorry if im not explaining myself well

      Turn key lock / master tempo on, which locks the pitch as you move the tempo

    Not bad, but I was looking for manual syncing on CDJ. There you still have everything visualized, what makes it not more difficult than using auto sync.

    This is great! But how do I adjust the BPMs heavily? like if one bpm is 140 and another is 90?

      You would rarely mix two tracks like that, they're not going to sound good stretched so far away from their original tempo. However, you would do it by simply changing the range to be wider and using the same method shown

    im new to DJ'ing.. i like your tutorials.. but why r your gonna leave the song playing at the wrong BPM..!

    • @digitaldjtips
      @digitaldjtips  Před 4 lety +1

      Hey Kelly, there is no problem with that - if you change the BPM to beatmatch there is no requirement to return it to it's "normal" speed once you've mixed it in

    How do you fix the key doing this technique when the bpms are pretty far from each other?

    • @digitaldjtips
      @digitaldjtips  Před 3 lety

      Keysync will obviously help but it can only do so much

    I have a Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX and I’m running Catalina version 10.15.7 on my Mac. Can you tell me why the jog wheels are not matching up with the waveforms in Serato DJ light??
    Whenever I spin the wheel back, there’s a delay in the software, and when I try scratching, there’s a delay in the software

      Sounds like a laptop issue, hard to diagnose what from a distance though.
