With a bare minimum bonus of ~30 to 40K, the salary starts to touch the mid 200K range. With an up or out culture, salary jumps happen every two years till you become a partner within 8 years. I know this because I am with an MBB firm in the US.

So total 142 from a batch size of 538. Similarly, they pick from other M10 colleges. So your chances of landing a consulting role is pretty high if you get into M10. Clarifications:- 1) You are right about that partner thing. 2) The number you said about picking is probably for IIMs and Indian top B schools because these front office roles are less in India.
