  • The poor state of road infrastructure between Cofimvaba and Cala in the Eastern Cape continues to haunt road users and villagers. Frequent torrential rains add salt to the wound for the people using the road connecting the two small towns. Many people have lost their lives trying to access government facilities using this road. Teaching and schooling is always affected during floods. This community is calling on President Cyril Ramaphosa to attend to the needs of the people on the ground.

People must learn to vote for service delivery and not who liberate them. Those days are over.
