Carolyn awesome tips ! I used to buy the latest now I purchase what I know I will use . The Simple Stories collection Wild flower is so pretty ❤ Love the Ferris wheel 🥰 Hugs & Moochies my sweet friend 🤗🤗💋💋🐘🐘
I find now that I’m more discerning about the collections I choose the less waste I have. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. ❤️
Hi! As a crafter who has been crafting over 20 years, it's easy to accumulate a lot of stuff quickly! You gave some great advice and most particular.....choose what speaks to your heart. I'm more mindful of what I purchase especially since there is a ton of product hitting the community far too frequently. I can admire the work of others without needing to work with all things myself. I definitely had to grow to this point. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thank you so much for watching and for commenting. It’s definitely been an evolution for me. At first I had fomo and had to have all the collections everyone else had but then I would find I wasn’t necessarily inspired to create with them. Now I just pick a few favorites and enjoy the process. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Carolina, Thanks for sharing these wonderful tips. ❤
You are so welcome! ❤️
I agree getting the paper kits are great for starters, With maggie holmes collections i mix them, majority of the time they go well😊
So true. She’s so easy to mix and match. ❤️
Great tips! I used to buy the latest and the greatest papers and then they would just sit there and then I wondered why I even bought them. After spending tons of $ I end up destashing or donating. 😂 You’re so right! Once you’ve been crafting for a while you know what papers you love and sing to your heart and which ones inspire you to create. Great advice! tfs 😍
So glad you found it informative. TFW! ❤️
Great Tips! TFS!
TFW! ❤️
Great paper breakdown! Paper was also confusing for me at first! I've never really been the person to buy the latest stuff. And i love buying paper kits for swaps mostly cause you get a little bit of everything! Great ideas! Tfs 💜💜💜
Thank you so much. ❤️❤️❤️
Awesome thx for sharing 🩷
This is great.
A lot of wonderful crafty info extremely appreciated 🩷
So glad you found it informative. ❤️
Love the tips you provided. I'm a scrapbooker so I tend to buy the collection kits & 1 of the embellishments (ephemera, chipboard, etc.) because I can use it for layouts & happy mail/swaps. I am trying to be more selective in what I buy because I've been doing this for almost 20 years so I have a huge stash already. TFS 🩷
So glad you found it informative. It’s always hard to be selective when there are so many lovely collections. I find though if I can do it I have far less waste. Thanks so much for commenting. ❤️
i agree. i didnt know the term solid core. but, everything you said it makes sence :)
In Canada, you really can not get collections like you do unless you order from a company. so, we have to get seperates. even Michaels typically doesnt have kits! this would be a good video for newbies.
and the best tip, is to know learn HOW AND WHAT your going to craft
Thank you for watching and for your comments Thelma. I do a live Sunday series for newbies and this video was extracted from that so you don’t have to listen to all the chatter. ❤️

Yes. Me too. 🤗
@@mycraftyadventures I like petting it. My favorite texture is their orange peel texture, but I’m not sure they still make it.
