Ja singen kann der, aber das lied ist 100% Konserve, das hätte auch ne KI geschrieben haben können und die Show war langweilig. Nichts gegen den Sänger, aber wenn der disqualifizierte Beitrag aus den Niederlanden mehr Sätze auf Deutsch enthält als die Beiträge aus DE, Österreich und der Schweiz zusammen, weiß man das was falsch läuft. The song wasn't even bad, just absolutely doesn't belong to this kind of show, but germans dont seem to understand that the entire point of this show is to have fun and maybe present some of your country. Germany did none of that, ever. No personality, no interesting artistic merit, nothing mind blowing, nothing fun, no good stage presence, no message...nothing. It was straight up the most basic radio song imaginable. The finns had the right idea, ireland, netherlands, Switzerland...all fantastic acts. Croatia, estonia and that other country with the hyper fun folk song (i forgot the countries name if im honest), amazing. even the uk was decent. They had a fun stage presence, very creative choreo too. Germany just sent some dude to perform some song from the radio and didn't even do that well.

I think it was because in the 90s Ireland won 4 times and as far as I remember the UK also won once or twice so they wanted to give more chances to the other countries as well
To be honest the song was just a little lacking in comparison to others with similar style, and also the stage chereography was quite unoriginal. It wasn't bad just not interesting enough (in my opinion)

Without the jury Germany "hätte verkackt". But German's singer was not that bad and thanks to the Jury he was in the middle field. I liked Croatia, a bit Switzerland and France. But some acts shocked me a bit, like UK, Ireland or some voices with the music which where a cacophony for my ears. I hope the next years will bring back more good voices and less naked skin.

Warum heißt es überhaupt "Eurovision Song Contest", wenn die Jury nicht primär das Singen und den Auftritt bewertet, sondern die politische Agenda gepusht wird? Dass die Zuschauer politisch abstimmen, war sowieso klar, aber zum mindestens die Jury sollte als neutrale Instanz fungieren.
Wie kommst Du nur auf solche Ideen, oder zu solchen Eindrücken ? Sowas wie "Die Jury" gibts ja schonmal nicht. Davon gibts 48, jede ist für sich alleine.

Dass die Ukraine 2022 mit großem Abstand gewonnen hat, ist offensichtlich kein Zufall. Dass Israels Jury und dessen militärische Verbündete (wie Deutschland) sich dieses Jahr gegenseitig viele Punkte gegeben haben, ist ebenfalls kein Zufall. Dieses Jahr hat eine "nicht-binäre Person" aus der Schweiz den ESC gewonnen. Die Schweiz hat die allermeisten Punkte durch Jurys bekommen, dessen Länder eine politisch linke Regierung haben und logischerweise stimmen die Jurys jener politisch linken Länder entsprechend ab. Die Jurys der baltischen Staaten schieben sich schon seit Jahren gegenseitig Punkte zu. Ich könnte gerade so weitermachen. Es ist nicht von der Hand zu weisen, dass die Jurys der Länder politisch motiviert abstimmen.

I like hearing the different languages (and tbh it annoys me sometimes how singers sing in a dubious English accent but understand why they do it).
I think it was because in the 90s Ireland won 4 times and as far as I remember the UK also won once or twice so they wanted to give more chances to the other countries as well

To be honest the song was just a little lacking in comparison to others with similar style, and also the stage chereography was quite unoriginal. It wasn't bad just not interesting enough (in my opinion)

I avoid information before the finals so I wasn't aware that the cool song I heard in stores was a German and actually OUR German song... when he came on I thought something broke in our country. He did amazing.
Auftritt Deutschland war irgendwie der einzige "normale" einfach gut gesungen ohne Versuch Politik oder sonstige "Messages" zu liefern. Gute Musik welche ich mir sehr gut im Radio vorstellen kann! Und endlich mal in der Mitte!
das war ja das problem. Der langweiligste, kommerziell sicherste und komplett aussagsloseste song allerzeiten. Sowas gehört da nicht hin. Der war straight aus dem radio gezogen, und deutsche scheinen nicht zu kapieren dass das nicht der sinn der show ist. Zugegeben, das ist typisch deutsch und representiert uns (leider) sehr gut, aber verdient halt echt nur letzten platz. Thema verfehlt 6 setzten. Wir haben viel zu hoch gepunktet dieses Jahr, völlig unverdient

But German's singer was not that bad and thanks to the Jury he was in the middle field.
I liked Croatia, a bit Switzerland and France. But some acts shocked me a bit, like UK, Ireland or some voices with the music which where a cacophony for my ears.
I hope the next years will bring back more good voices and less naked skin.
Ireland along with Switzerland had by far the best performance of the event.

Warum heißt es überhaupt "Eurovision Song Contest", wenn die Jury nicht primär das Singen und den Auftritt bewertet, sondern die politische Agenda gepusht wird? Dass die Zuschauer politisch abstimmen, war sowieso klar, aber zum mindestens die Jury sollte als neutrale Instanz fungieren.
Wie kommst Du nur auf solche Ideen, oder zu solchen Eindrücken ? Sowas wie "Die Jury" gibts ja schonmal nicht. Davon gibts 48, jede ist für sich alleine.

Dass jedes Land seine eigene Jury hat, ist völlig klar und offensichtlich. Der Punkt ist, dass die jeweiligen Jurys der Länder vorrangig politisch motiviert abstimmen.
Dass die Ukraine 2022 mit großem Abstand gewonnen hat, ist offensichtlich kein Zufall.
Dass Israels Jury und dessen militärische Verbündete (wie Deutschland) sich dieses Jahr gegenseitig viele Punkte gegeben haben, ist ebenfalls kein Zufall.
Dieses Jahr hat eine "nicht-binäre Person" aus der Schweiz den ESC gewonnen. Die Schweiz hat die allermeisten Punkte durch Jurys bekommen, dessen Länder eine politisch linke Regierung haben und logischerweise stimmen die Jurys jener politisch linken Länder entsprechend ab.
Die Jurys der baltischen Staaten schieben sich schon seit Jahren gegenseitig Punkte zu.
Ich könnte gerade so weitermachen.
Es ist nicht von der Hand zu weisen, dass die Jurys der Länder politisch motiviert abstimmen.
Wir müssen einfach Electric Callboy schicken, dann gibt es auch Platz 1
