- II did it!!! I finally got sub40 and World Record, super proud of this run!!
Final time is around 39:35.90, I turned on my timer 14 frames late, and ended the timer a few frames late.

Imagine being Ganon. You've been struggling for 100 years to escape the prison caused by your two most hated enemies after you nearly succeeded so long ago. Then, immediately after waking up, your enemy kicks in the door to your throne room naked and barely equipped, only to completely stomp you before you can even land a hit.

It's hilarious to think about Ganon building up power for 100 years, and Link just wakes up, marches to his castle, and kills him immediately while naked and just using some weapons he picked up off the ground.
It is almost sad considering "Ganon is a primal evil that has endured over the ages." But has not endured to a naked person that just got out of a bath

Like Zelda herself, not really that important, but hey, at least you had a viewer base while being awesome.
The amount of dedication that goes into these are amazing, like changing the language just because it is quicker. It's such a tiny detail but makes a huge difference.
Well I wouldn’t say changing the language is dedication, it’s simply practical and an easy way to lower time. I agree though that with pretty much everything else the amount of effort and dedication put into speedrunning is insane.
Thats why usually speedrunners play games in japanese, or in this case german, they get more text in less square dialogs making it faster to go through dialogue
What's funny is that I actually speak German, and I guess I never really noticed it was faster.

Very impressive. I love this game, i cherish the journey, but i really enjoyed all the moves, the neat little time saving movements used to maximize speed, falling off the towers was something i didnt see. dude, thanks for investing your time to entertain others. F... the haters.

you first do a normal jump while running, then you focus forward with either ZR or R (don't remember which one) - in order to equip your shield. When you equip your shield while mid-air, link does a tiny jump. The rest of the action sequence is not entirely necessary, but you can activate your shield menu and remove the shield to make for a safe and sturdy landing.

When you only have one game on the switch
This is being played on a Wii U. You can tell by the pop up she gets when they explain how to use the controls. The reason why she is playing on Wii U is because loading is slightly faster on Wii U. It can also be that she doesn't have a Switch.

Well technically link never faced Ganon when he was with Zelda and the champions. One of the memories in the game show how, and why link was put in the shrine of resurrection. He was protecting Zelda from a bunch of guardians and was badly injured. And Zelda told some guards that were with her to take link to the shrine of resurrection. So we will never know if link would have defeated Ganon if he had never been put in the shrine of resurrection.

Alexdiggerman Its basically when you critical hit something right? It knocks them down, well if you hit something fast enough, by the time it gets back up, it will be hit enough to fall back down and you just continue the cycle
