Thanks for watching!
I love this guy. He's like a loving grandpa in the making. Great job interviewing and making people comfortable. She's awesome too. Best of luck to her. Good life! ✌🏽❤️
She reminds me of my 23 year old daughter. My daughter thinks through everything and decides what to do based on health and environment impact. She rarely screws up on her choices. Unlike me, who goes the costly trial/error route. Smart young ladies.
I love that she's talking about indoor air quality and off gassing. It's not discussed enough.
@jayharter thank you! It was named after a goal we worked towards for a while and finally manifested a couple of years ago.
I had no idea about this phenomenon. I have to do some researching now.
@@crzyruskie86 most RV's produce off-gassing. Same with building materials. I can't even be in an RV one for a few minutes without getting nauseous, congested, dizzy and achy. I didn't know why until I started researching. Something to also take into consideration with a van build since treated wood is a big culprit. "My Chemical Free House" on Facebook has a blog I follow with great detailed info about building materials to look for and avoid.
My wife is always complaining about my offgassing.
@fancyturdhat 😂🤦🤭🥺
Absolutely love her van! So bright and spacious. Also nice to hear she persisted in giving van life a try, even after her partner decided it wasn't for him. Cheers to you!
Hi from Australia 🇦🇺. I do wonder if there is one partner now regretting his decision ❤️

Something tells me there is always more to the story than one sees.
Bob is our Santa Claus. Every day he brings gifts of knowledge on how to live this life.
True hey 👋
True true
I was at a loss, down in the dumps so to speak, if you saw me anywhere, you would think I was the happiest Lady in the world. Never want my issues to be someone else. Then there was Tiny Homes on wheels. I thought that was my answer to go and see the country with a friend or friends. Then there came a wonderful movie about Bob Wells and other ways to explore and gave me sincere hope. Then all of CZcams with Bob Wells. I bought a small class B, RV. 2011 Pleasure-Way F-350. Taking small trips now and then. I look forward to meeting Bob one day to say thank you.

I first watched one of this guys videos and thought “who watches this guy?!?!”- now I’m a fan.
He is a good interviewer. He is respectful and polite. He lets the one being interviewed speak without interrupting.

The story of Bob loosing his son to suicide is quite sad.
Plenty of people who are interested in this lifestyle watch him. You're not a fan... move on.
Maryann stensRUDE. Very fitting.
My thoughts exactly. He's the Santa Clause in Van Lifing industry.
Smart girl, love how she talks about clean materials, no chemical. Very organized and lacking nothing!
The name "Freebird" means more considering the van's former life. So amusing. Love this setup so much! Love her outfit too!!
How great to see a young, smart, cool woman being adventurous and living her dreams. Terrific van. So open and welcoming ... great light and organization. Thanks, Bob and Lisa!
Man, I Just love this girl, her attitude about everything, the way she put the thing together an awesome mix of practical re-purposed and even stuff to make the place more homey. Just so upfront and transparent what an interesting lady.
I love this gals attitude. She’s a real inspiration. Gives me hope in the younger generation.
Yeah for sure shes pretty self absorbed.
Get yourself an air fryer it was a lifesaver when we didn't have an oven in the house baked cookies in it and everything beautiful van great job Bob
@Carol Howard those are also fantastic too.
@@no_peace I totally agree
@Jacob Namowicz thanks😊
TheLicktySplitz and it’s cheap great idea
It depends on the size of them. You're going to need an outlet that has between 800 watts to 1500 watts. The maximum of electricity an air fryer with 1500 wattage can consume is not more than 1 unit a day. In case you do cooking of 30 minutes in air fryer, the maximum electricity that will be consumed will only be half unit of electricity a day. Air Fryer takes upmost 15 minutes to complete household cooking needs. Most of the Air Fryers have a power rating which is less than 1500 watts and hence they consume much less than half unit of electricity a day.
Beautiful van and spirit - thanks for bringing another great interview to us Bob!
I loved she talked about things no one ever thinks of Indoor air Quality & the differences in paint & flooring I would have never thought of that ! ☺️
Her van is like the Condo of Vanlife 🌈🤯👌🏿😍
Beautiful van, beautiful spirit.
lol so true. great build really..
I had a similar bench/bed 60sec conversion system in my camper build and my findings were different..... even though it only takes so little time to convert from couch to bed, doing it repeatedly twice, every single day (once to bed and again back to couch) gets very cumbersome and feels like an extra chore. I have since switched to a longer and wider bench/bed on only one side without a backrest and just single pillow cushions instead. This makes all the difference now being able to just lay down on a bed anytime you want to rest and get up in the morning without having to move things around. So much better day in and day out. IMO, if you can avoid it, it's best to design all your systems with long term living day to day ease of use in mind, and to avoid any kind of convertible, dual function apparatuses that you use daily or often. Switching modes wears on you after time and really takes away from the enjoyment of living simplistic and freely.
nateross14 I’ve always wondered if a daybed sized mattress would work as both bed and couch, without having to shift anything around.
@nateross14
I completely agree.
Exactly
Freebird is nice. The mirror idea is something people seem to forget.
The dark wood panels surrounding the 'bathroom' mirror is my favourite cozy addition actually! Reminds me of my grandpa. Love it all! The windows are great.
I’ve been full time close to 3 years, remembering my first months... I looked for places to stop like a maniac 😂😂. Today I just stop, everything is good ❤️ touring Europe, from Norway 🤗
If you ever make a stop in Denmark, I would love to see what you're living in ;) I'm saving up for my own build and past new years I'll be buying the van :D
I just started watching these videos and it's interesting. So where do people stop? Camp grounds? parking lots? Can't just stop on peoples land?
I love the fact that she's so self-sufficient
I love her van it's a perfect set up and planned carefully for the environment. Lisa is so positive and inspiring.
Wow, your kitchen is terrific! I like the idea that the kitchen has so much room. The entire van has a great design, I especially like the high window so you have a view.
I love all the natural lighting, plus you can keep check on your surroundings.
Wow! I've watched hundreds of van build tours and this one is in my top 5 favorites.
I love this girls energy! Started looking into Vanlife culture very recently and its very encouraging seeing people that have similar vibes to my own out there and loving it!
What a cool chick. I love her build! That's a van I could live in for sure.
She’s adorable! Great stylish home on wheels!
She’s awesome. That’s a great system. She already knows what it seems like I’m always trying to explain. There’s a way to have everything you need with a simple setup. It’s not over done but it’s elegant.
Bob thank you for another wonderful video. I have to say that this is the BEST van build I have seen so far, almost taking away the idea of buying a class C when I retire... Blessings to both of you and all the real folks that are living life free.
What an awesome person! This is by far the best van conversion I have seen!
Putting all my puzzle pieces together. So now I’ve found my toilet. To start out besides the cost of van the most money I will spend is on Jackery battery and the toilet. Great build.
I love your van. I don't see many without beds and yours is perfect, opens the entertaining option that most don't have!!
I love it the way she build this home in a van so much space is one of my best I seen
Thank you for the such informative channel. All the safety tips for traveling solo & with dogs. I'm so scared to hit the road without my mechanic husband who passed. I have been so lucky in our past trips. You have helped me decide to get in & go. Down sizing from 36 ft class A to 22 ft class C. It's been interesting. Looking forward to watching more interviews & reviews. on your channel.
Sweet young lady. So up beat. Admire her energy.
Lisa is a natural interviewee! I love how she addressed indoor air quality and pointed out why she chose her materials. I wish there was a link to the stainless steel dairy(?) can.The different choices of windows, pros and cons, simple homemade covers, her take on setting up a bed routinely (I chuckled when setting up half a bed was half the time), Her clothes storage system was helpful too! GREAT interview and set up!
It’s called a Jerry can

Awesome video! We live aboard our sailboat so can appreciate a tiny space made into a home. Cheers from the Channel Islands!
Sir you’re about the most informative gentleman I’ve seen on these CZcams’s carefully explained articulate kind to all the people that are living on the road now I think I’m gonna do this at some point I’m 60 I’ve been driving an 18 wheeler for 31 years and I’m not sure if I want to buy a home or not so this is a possibility I’ve been to seven Asian countries Africa Australia in Pakistan but I haven’t even seen my own country so thank you for the wonderful videos you’re a great guy Cris from Detroit
Thank You for sharing your home with me I absolutely LOVE IT 🌹❤️
She did an excellent job designing a functional van.
So awesome!! I’m really proud of her for getting out and doing this! I’m figuring out what I want to do, travel in a van/bus, small cabin, there’s so many incredible adventures and avenues out there! Just live your life! I’m 57, and have always loved the mountains, country, just do your life... she’s truly sweet!!
Oh, I love her van- and her purple hair! Everything's so Cool, neat and comfy. She lets u know it can be done with attention to important air quality- which Most forget. I Do like the wood accents and touches of color! She topped it off with that solid white exterior. Amazing build, job Well Done! 👏♥️👍
Most truck stops has showers $15. And a app called truckers path is a must for truck drivers we love it
I love how everything she has is color coordinated! She is so awesome! Pretty, smart, funny! Triple threat!
I really like this gal's spirit!! That she thinks in sustainable terms, and that she is environmentally friendly, I love!! Nice job on the van build ;-) ...peace
except for the mileage thing...that kinda negates the whole "friendly" part.
@@jaimhaas5170 I think you mean 'because of' the mileage thing, and yes, that is a downside. It truly is unfortunate that this country is so beholden to big oil. I appreciate that she is trying to be environmentally friendly in other ways, whilst living in a house on wheels !
And environmentally friendly hair dyes and makeup. It's not as easy as it should be but good on them who give it a go.
Love it! The window coverings, cabinet door with mirror, the kitchen, & the flower pot; that design makes it seem so roomy!
This woman is amazing! I love her build!
very impressive lady, have learned a lot from this video. I think that females have a knack for teaching because they are so detail oriented. Alot to absorb. Thanks!
What a delightful, gutsy woman. I love the purple hair and her enthusiasm. 🥰 AND her great van! Another delightful interview to thank you for, Bob!
Great build. Thank you 4 sharing your home with us
Would love to join her anyway for those ventures of life and be on the road again !!!
Lisa's build was part of the research/inspiration when I designed my 2018 NV 2500 build. Thank you for the informative video.
My absolute favorite build I’ve seen out of Hundreds. Well done!!
I was very impressed with this young lady in her first interview and even more so now that I see what a great job she did on her van.
Her enthusiasm is contagious. Great set up.
So cool. The definition of courage is acting in spite of the fear.
I really love her kitchen, probably the best one I've seen in a van.
Cute girll
You’re a great interviewer, just speaking enough to help a guest look good and get out their info, all while being educational too.
Beautiful van. Awesome design. She has created an enviable van life. Well done.
Loved the whole van but just adore the window coverings! Beautiful, big kitchen and love the high window. Great job!!
She seems really cool. Very nice setup! Thanks for sharing.👍
Great ideas. I love everything about her home.
I love her. Omg that exactly how I feel now and I don’t even have the money for my van
Never thought about air quality in a custom van build. Greats points and well thought out/cool build! Very unique like her hair
Love this van! Such a great use of space.
I like everything about this van!!!! 😁
Very good to avoid materials that off gas whenever possible.
Pfft! Ever heard of VENTILATION?
Watch her still get cancer in 20 years.
The recycled cabinetry is amazing.
Great conversation on being alone and safety. Nice build out.
What a fantastic build. Definitely picked up a few great ideas for when I do mine.
Love this van. Lisa seems so sweet.
I love the way the vans are so individualised. They reflect the character of the vanner. Great stuff Bob. I’ll have to check your van. Havnt seen that yet.
How nice to hear her honesty.
I love these Nissan Vans. They don't look great, but I think there more reliable than Ford's. I'm considering buying one for expediting and rigging it in a way so i can use it as a camper when I'm off.
Just be aware at all times, don’t be afraid!
Love her home and her attitude!
That's a dope Van. You wouldn't even know somebody was living in it. Very nice.
Nice Van. Being 6'5" vs 5'5" limits my mimicking many Bed Conversions, but seeing the different Ideas - particularly on Cheep RV - has been Tremendous. I've always did a Van, Pick Up and SUV Camping Thing. In bad weather it can get real old setting-up outside, when it comes time to Pack-up to leave. Retired. Love Travel & Outdoors. Trucking seemed to make ' Living on the Road ' much easier. Thanks for all your efforts. Live in New England. Love to see the Mid West & North West USA. Thanks & God Bless.
What an amazing young woman. She is so intelligent and is a pragmatic, original thinker.
Like the THING sticker
What a great home. Great energy too.
seems like a great lady love her attitude
wally stewart Has anyone noticed she’s honest.
@@jonm57 I doubt anyone noticed she's very honest and up front i like that
I enjoyed your honest feelings about being scared . Its helping me make the jump into living in my car for awhile .
Thanks, Bob!
An awesome van for an awesome young woman, and for the price of a run-down, 1990s Roadtrek! Sweet!
Most beautiful van I ever see simple and bright inside
Thanks for the eco tips for indoor air quality!
Love the build, love the spirit!
Great young lady. She seems really happy. Thanks for sharing.
Love this story. Beautiful van.
What a bubbly young lady! Good luck to you!
Love her van so much!!!
Very cool young lady, challenged by some fears about traveling alone but persevered, and now benefitting from facing those fears. Whoever the guy is that bailed on her, is an idiot.
Thanks for more ideas on van life.
THIS is Lovely 💗. Totally how I would want to live if given the chance at van life! Just wonderful and what a Bright soul she is!
She has done an amazing build out! I love it!
Well thought through. Great build
Dont be afraid...but be aware❤
What a well thought out design. Congrats!
Great van! Great lady! I laughed at the fuel mileage. 14.5 miles per gallon. We just did a 4500 mile summer trip pulling our travel trailer with my 8.1 v8 Chevy. 4 to 8 miles a gallon depending on grade and wind. We're not full time, and I understand there are different circumstances, but I would have died to get 14.5 a gallon especially in CA at 4.09 a gallon. Anyway great video as usual and she is super inspirational!
