As a somewhat newer player, this was actually the first (and only so far) mono-type run I managed to complete, mainly using Dreepy w/ power up punch + blazing quirk + parental bond and Gastly w/ sludge bomb as well as pumpkaboo for pickup. I don’t remember how I beat eternatus though lol
I still have no idea how bug was one of the first you completed, as it stands I've done every single type EXCEPT bug. I've tried with 3 different teams 22 times in total. I've given up for the moment and started doing mono gen runs instead
he cleared normal, water and poison and did a lot of runs for bug before challenge mode was formally implemented, in the video for bug, it's only the 3 runs he did after the update

Haze is a pretty big brain move for the last battle. I'ma keep that in mind as a possible strat. Also, that ending was comedy gold!
Another funny move to use could be topsy-turvy to reverse its stat changes.
psych up then topsy-turvy is a two part comedy.

Dragapult with power-up punch and sharpness aegislash were cracked for my mono ghost run. Also had mega banette, chandelure, cofagrigus, and annihilape
Seeing a well-versed player like you struggle from time to time with this game makes me feel better about losing my own runs in the mid 100's. This game is hard!

I can't wait till gen 5 Rom hacks evolve enough where we see the sprites of newer Pokemon in game. The sprites in this game is awesome.
I just completed my mono ghost run the other day. Coincidentally, I used Gourgeist over Gholdengo.
So far ive done Normal, Fighting, Flying, Ground, Rock, and Bug. Bug was actually the mosr fun with Magician, Twin Beams, Multi-Lense Butterfree.
Both Maxie and Archie had a shiny in my runs yesterday
Ive seen more random trainers with shiny pokemon than ive even seen that i can catch. Rip

I wanna try fusing a primary steel type with a daughbun. wouldnt it be completely immune to eternatus?
yeah
any Steel Fairy is entirely immune to Eternatus first phase, once it gmax's it learns flamethrower so it stops being immune, but first phase yeah
You can make it fairy steel with well baked body from daschbund, so it should be immune to eternatus in classic, but as long as its just fairy steel, it'll be immune in endless

My first shiny ever in pokerogue was impossible to got cause it was a trainer one xD
I want to try mono runs, but I need to play a lot more to get more pokemon and some costs down
The grind is quite insufferable isnt it?
Not feasible for people with actual jobs imo.
A run on average takes 2-3.5h.
Even with an endless approach its still too time consuming to be worth it.
Thank god i decided to instead invested 4 hours to skip all the grind, now i can do whatever i want ☠️
@@tylerprince6371 yeah it's slow in the beginning but as soon as you can do endless you can have lots of shinies and egg vouchers and do this type of games

because random enemy pokemon can permanently knock off your items in return, and a lot of mons can learn it
