Let's go to Luckenbach, Texas with Waylon and Willie and the boys!
Thanks....now I have that song stuck in my head :-)
Robert Moore I was singin as I was viewin! Great song
It's a small world after all, It's a small world after all, It's a small world after all, it's a small, small world!
cherstyler....LOL
Robert Moore That's exactly what I started to sing as I watched!! Lol!
The Llama didn't want to tag along
adamthewoo lol
adamthewoo what would you do if a llama actually hopped in the rv & said gyddeup woo lets go! (with the same enthusiasm as donkey from Shrek?) that would make one heck of daily WOOah!
adamthewoo meh...llamas spit anyways...would have been messy
I agree the spitting is gross & not needed, but they're pretty cool otherwise.
adamthewoo He wasn't "Rinkin" it.
I love how he never says bad words
The KP Show. I'm with you on that. If I had kids, this is one channel I would never be hesitant to let them watch. I've noticed that quite a few kids show up with their parents at Adam's meet-ups. TDW appeals to all age groups.
Such a pleasure not to have to listen to a curse word every other word!!
So true!
Adam, your historical research and narrations are always excellent. Thank you for devoting such effort to your audience. Well done.
Texas is fascinating. Just....space everywhere. So big. I could never get used to living there though. Great show Adam.
one of the cool things I learned when I went to the Ranch 2 years ago was that. The day President Kennedy was killed, Kennedy, LBJ and their wives were flying to the ranch to eat dinner and spend a few days there. after the rally in Dallas.. Sadly that afternoon history changed forever, and they didn't make it there.. But That yellow phone in the kitchen at the LBJ ranch was the 1st phone to be contacted before the united states would be told Kennedy died, Secret Service called from the hospital in Dallas to the LBJ ranch, to put the ranch in lock down, and to also have Johnson's family bible flown to Dallas as fast as they could. im not sure if he got his family bible in time, before he was flown to d.c. and was sworn in as president on air force 1. but a little bit of cool history
I love when you cover historical figures like this. I find these kinds of subjects endlessly fascinating. 😊
One time we where at a swimming hole near Medina lake on a large ranch, the owners where friends so I had verbal permission to swim anytime. We where chased into a large oak tree by a giant Brahman bull over 2000 lbs and he was very upset for some reason lol. Highly terrifying. At dark after several hours he got bored and left.
Don't go chasing waterfalls, Adam. :-)
ill stick to the rivers and the lakes that I'm used to
adamthewoo Lmao! 😂😂😂Ok TLC!
Ruthy D 😂😂😂😂
Tubthumping
Was that a REO Firetruck in the museum? Awesome.. My favorite band is Reo Speedwagon
Yes! The weekend is officially here!! TDW Saturday edition. The notification makes me so excited!
Simon Coney damn half way through ours but Saturday turned out to be awesome so you should have fun (now I gotta go back to the future lol )
Hey Adam! Just wanted to let you know I just discovered your channels within the last couple of months and I have to tell you, they have quickly become my favorite channels! I make sure I watch your daily vlogs without fail. I skip most of my other subscriptions, but not you! I really appreciate your awesome humor and your nomadic lifestyle! You are just a cool dude and I appreciate all your hard work! Keep it up!
"Get away from me chicken!!!" Adam, we need a "Goose" T-shirt!!!!
That reminded me of Key West- chickens everywhere! I just wanted to kick them...
The cattle that LBJ had were Hereford cattle which come from Hereford in Herefordshire UK, where my Mum was born and my Grandfather had a dairy farm with just a well for water and no electricity ;). xx
I believe that "waterfall crossing" is what's called a "ford." There's a ford down in Cascade Park in Elyria, Ohio just like that & cars can cross to the other side of the park as long as the water isn't above a certain height. It's really cool.
I can't tell you how many times we've driven by there. Now I need to stop and see it the next time we're in Austin. Thanks Adam, another great one!! Made me tear up a little while you were on the ranch, I was a kid at the time he was President, gave me great memories of my wonderful parents. Got my WOO FIX for the day!!😀
"LUKE" IN Bach
Luke is in the creek.
Oh no...my daughter and I drove the back roads from Austin through Fredericksburg in 2007...and didn't stop there. Thank you again! I'll have to look up the month Lady Bird passed that year. She really lived a long time and was the one behind keeping the highways beautified with wildflowers. Definitely wide open spaces out there. I wasn't wild about driving the miles of hills...once you get pass the flatland.
Nice John Lennon reference at the beginning!!
Waylon Jennings - Luckenback, Texas
Good spot, stay safe!
I can only imagine how many decisions involving the Vietnam War were made at his ranch. What a great video Adam, thanks for taking us there!
Thanks for the tour of the LBJ Ranch. I really appreciate your great narrations too. That river crossing looked like fun!
I've actually driven across that low water crossing/dam/bridge in a 1967 Lincoln Continental with the LBJ State Park superintendent during a BBQ at the LBJ Ranch a few years ago. It was as cool as you'd think.
Remember the old mystery shows from the 70's and 80's? Here's a new one Adam and the Llama. Solving mysteries throughout the country side.
Thumbs up for that shirt! Those animals always look so confused when you you start conversing with them, love it!!
You being in Luckenbach TX, reminded me of the song by same name is heard growing up. Good memories. Thank you.
Omg the Amphicar! My mom always wanted one of those as a teen. Growing up my grandparents had a house on a lake. The house is right by the beach. I'll never forget when this friend of my parents came down the road & just kept driving right into the lake just to hear the gasps & screams of the Memorial Day weekend crowds of people. The home owners association put up parking baracades soon afterwards LOL.
Adam you know why your infactuated with that waterfall? it probably reminds you of the backlot tour trams from i forgot one of the movie special effect parks i believe it was universal studios back in the days.
I believe it was on the tram tour at Universal Studios Hollywood. Your tram would drive thru the lake and the water would part reminiscent of the scene from "The Ten Commandments."
Adam needs one of those longhorn skulls for the front of Large Marge.
Thanks for showing this place. Hope to see all 3 Texas Presidential Libraries.
Great video. Here in Vermont we have two presidential homes. One in Plymouth notch, Calvin Coolidge and in Fairfield, Chester A. Arthurs. If you come up here you should check them out as well as Hildene in Manchester, where Robert Todd Lincoln lived.
Adam the Woo's Wild Kingdom in full effect.
that ol post office looks like something i would really enjoy. i hope you have a great day my friend
Glad you're exploring TX really slow. Swing by Fort Worth, my neck of the woods. And Weatherford TX is JR Ewing (Larry Hagman's hometown
Adam! I want to make a case for the Odessa/Midland area. We are on I-20 in between DFW and El Paso. We Have:
A Stonehenge replica
A meteor crater
The a museum for the office of the president
A Petroleum Museum
Jack Rabbit Statues all around town
Baby Jessica fell down the well here!
Friday Night Lights (book and movie) was about our high school football team!
Pumpjacks, mesquite and desolation!
AND its (sort of) on the way to Marfa Tx which is crazy cool too!
Great video Adam. Your truly one of the bright spots in my otherwise dull day.
Videos are always fun, yet educational. Love em'!
Party poopers....oh my I laughed out loud! Thanks Adam. :-)
@ 9:45 Adam you got your wish. Just yesterday you said you wanted to see a cow walking along the road. @9:45 it was happening. 👍🏼👍🏼✌🏼️
I love your daily blogs. I love seeing parts of America I know I won't be able to get to. This one with all of the former Presidential spots was particularly interesting. Thank you for doing what you do, every day.
Loved seeing the Tatonka!!!!
Great vlog Adam!!
Such interesting things and places you go!!!
TFS!!!
"...Varsity's horns are sawed off, Varsity's horns are saw-ed off, Varsity's horns are sawed off...SHORT!" At 00:10 Adam, it is an Aggie thing, the burnt orange longhorn, AKA Bevo, has had his horns sawn off by the Fighting Texas Aggie 12th Man, GIG EM AGGIES!
I wonder how much trouble they have keeping the grass green by the grave stone. You know that large quantities of urine will kill the grass.
There is a drive across like that where I live. Goes across meridian creek in Bosque County. It’s on old Parks ranch, but has a county road going through it. Raised my son fishing there. Adam if you are ever in Bosque County TX. There are some interesting sites - like the old Rock church that to this day is visited by people from all around the world.
WOW Adam! You are getting into very interesting places!!! Thank you for this blog, I never knew there was an Air Force "One-Half" if it wasn't by you :) Keep up the good work buddy! (I meant the good travel, LOL)
The bar reminds me of Moonshine Gulch out in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Once the weather gets nice, ya need to head up to the Midwest. You won't be disappointed.
HI Adam you are a Worker you give us Videos each Day just to say Thanks we love ya out hear, be safe but most of all have lots of fun Woo. TN.
awesome. Thank you for sharing this story
should have stopped in for a chooch
Friggent rights bud!
That would be too awesome.
pug1and the woo big hotdog party /meet and greet @ inwood customs summer 2017
BMP.👍 💚
Frig ya! Cheech it pug!!!
yeah he friggin did!
STOVEPIPE!!!!
I gotta hand it to you Adam... Your making Texas look real good! Im having sooo much fun watching....Watched & Liked!
Love your videos Adam! The humor! The animals! The crazy voices! The history! It all works the magic of The Woo! Thanks for all your hard work just to make us smile! Glad Jacob wasn't there to see the possum though! No telling how it would have affected him! I know it made me jump!
They have bridges like that somewhere near the Guadalupe River or Frio River in Texas. I forgot which one. But the water level can't be low.
Beautiful ranch of the late President "Veeet nam" Johnson. Great vlog Adam.
that water bridge reminds me of the "part the waters!" moment on the studio tour at Universal Studios
Did I see Jacob's suitcase pet? Low-water fords or bridges is pretty common in agriculture. They allow for minimal wash-out and are cheaper to construct than an actual bridge.
Keep up the good work Adam. Your videos are an inspiration to us all.
Thank you Adam.
The llama is going to tell his llama friends that a creepy stranger in an RV offered him a ride, but no free candy. Creepy guy rule #1, if you want them to get in the RV, you gotta offer them candy. You can't cheap out.
Enjoyed the video. Went thru that area 30 years ago. I guess it's time for another trip to Texas.
I’ve played music there many times. Always a blast.
Love your videos. Every time I watch one I learn something new everyday.
You and large Marge own the road
mark nesbitt yes and theres no luckenbac 😊
heee heee! "There is a waterfall that you could walk or stampede across - a great photo op!" That was funny!
Great vid! Have you ever been to Round Rock, Texas? You can see THE Round Rock in the Brushy Creek right on the Chisholm Trail. Beautiful place but I think that creek area is haunted.
Thank you Adam. Always learning from you! ❤
As always..great vid!
Thanks for all you do. I watch every day.
3:00 opossum - always makes me think of Carpetbagger :) We ENJOY your videos!
loookenbach, Texas with Waylon, Willie and the boys.. doin it like the Hatfields and McCoy
Adam 31/2 year and it never gets old ,your the man
I'm sure you're not referring to TDW lol.
Wow I love your Vlogs. They are fun, informative and educational!
In his autobiography,Dr Billy Graham said he rode in that boat/car. It scared the crap out of him. Johnson did that kinda thing to unsuspecting visitors.
These kinda vlogs are my favorite Adam...thanks!
Wishing you safe travels. One Day hope to see you here in Oklahoma. Your videos are always WooFresh.
adam surely that ranch would be perfect for a picnic?? park marge up, get out some chairs, pull out the awning and bask in the peacefulness.....and yes i did call you shirley
Superb video! Thanks, Mr. Woo.
Aww home sweet home I love it here in Texas I can literally go out and lay down in the middle of the road and be hours before somebody drives down the road. So he wasn’t playing about him being alone out there
@3:20....nice original 'fire burning' stove.😜😜👍😎
I'm "Rinkin" it!
You need a TV in large marge. LED use almost no power. Grab a 27 inch sometime. Probably $100 now. Mount it on a swivel arm in front of the bed. Swing it around to see it from the couch.
it's pronounced loo kin bac Texas and the very famous Willie Nelson Waylon Jennings song Let's go to Luckenbac Texas in the mid 70s put this place on the map, I hope you make it to Del Rio and Amistad lake and the huge Dam ,take hyw 90 west out of Del Rio and stop at Langtry but be shure large Marge is gased up because it's a long way between gas stations I can't stress enough how magnificent the scenery is out that way ,good drone footage, Del Rio is rich in culture and history, Wolfman Jack broadcast from a radio station there on the Mexican border that reached far and wide, the Brinkley house is also very intersting ,they guy was known for using goat glands for medicinal porpoises Del Rio has some insane Mexican food, try Memos and Don Marcelenos and many many good steak houses too ,it's a neat town ,easy to get around in and they have a big Wal Mart and truck stop too lake Amistad is the 3rd largest man made lake in the US in believe.
I think, perhaps, Adam is too young and too Punk to be aware of the song and the Willie & Waylon connection to the town.
Yes i think you are right lol
Hope he goes there..sounds interesting.
i think you may be right
I had no idea you were a "llama-phile", trying to pick up that young, impressionable llama!
Love your wanders of the beaten paths Adam! Interesting areas you hit upon :)))
If you go to White Pines State Park, also a camp ground, in Mt Morris IL, you can drive over a river. I was just excited as you when I saw it! 😆 And, demon mule! 😂
Dude, at about the @3:17 mark you said, "...and over here is an original fire burning stove..." Just funny...
That was a great intro an then a short conversation with the animals that was awesome !!!!
So glad ya made it out to LBJs ranch!! I have great childhood memories taking the guided tour through there!
Wow, Lyndon B. Johnson had a Lockheed Jetstar! I use to work on those Dynosaurs.....
Not to be overly critical Adam (seriously, I really enjoy and appreciate what you do), but as a Texan, there are several things in this video that must be addressed. Oh lordy, PLEASE don't say PEE-khan, or Pee-caan when in Texas. Here, it's puh-KHan. And Luchenbach, Texas, (pronounced LU-kin-bach) seriously? Have you never heard the song by Waylon Jennings? One of his biggest hits. Ever. The pictures on the wall aren't just celebrities that have visited. That is the Outlaws and the Highwaymen. Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Jessi Coulter, Johnny Cash, and Kris Kristofferson. And sorry, the Hondo statue is NOT the same Hondo as the John Wayne character and movie of the same name that Al Bundy never got to watch. This Hondo was one of the investors that purchased Luckenbach and helped promote it to it's current status (As stated on the historical marker)
Super vlog!! Texas is an amazing state!! Thankful that there isn't anymore barbecue because I think I gained 10 pounds!! You look great in yellow!! Enjoy your weekend Adam!! You are the best!!
Love your videos Adam! I watch everyday I get off work!
Never seen a bridge quite like that. Kinda reminds me of something you'd see at Universal.
first Aussie ? love the stuff on the side off-the road -here the council (shires) would make you take it down but it's kinda interesting to see. also there are water roads like that in Australia when the North floods during our wet season -they look just like that but much more dangerous
Also be sure to visit the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson AZ. More former Air Force One planes (Kennedy\Nixon).
Thank you for the visit to LBJ ranch. Regardless of how history views his presidential term, it's still really cool to see the history.
Very timely video, Adam, considering that President Trump released a short video from inside the current Air Force One right about the time that you were taking yours. His plane today is a bit bigger. ;) Anyway, very interesting video!
Let's go to Luckenbach Texas with Waylon and Willie and the boys
This successful life we're livin' got us fueding
like the Hatfield and McCoys
Between Hank Williams pain songs, Newberry's train songs
and blue eyes cryin' in the rain out in Luckenbach Texas
ain't nobody feelin' no pain
There were many aircraft before the Wright brothers flew, but Wilbur and Orville were the first to document their flight.
Hello Adam keep up the good work/ i love to travel as well too when i can :) & me and grand baby love your shows and carpetbaggers too God Bless
Opossum? The Carpetbagger would be proud.
I graduated from the same high school Ladybird Johnson went to! Not the same building because it burned down but the same high school, nonetheless.
awesome video adam.
