I just watched your nail video from 5 months ago using gel x nails for the first time and noticed a few mistakes that you missed doing to your nails to help your nails to last the longest they are meant to last for. I am also new to doing my own nails with gel x for about a year and a half now and actually use the exact Beatles gel x box you are using currently. I watched a bunch of gel x videos and still do before i started doing my own nails so with that being said i hope you don't take any of this as me being rude with saying that you are still making mistakes i'm just generally trying to give you a few recommendations that will help you in your self doing nail journey that really work for me that i never noticed in either one of you videos that i watched
1.) Get your self a big nail lamp if you don"t already have one
2.) You need some nail dehydrator and primer
3.) When etching the inside of the nails try using a smaller nail bit to fit better and etch high enough and well enough but not to much if that makes sense
4.) Put primer on the etched part of the nail to also help with the adhesion
5.) Don't forgot the thin layer of the nail glue on all your nails and cure for 60 seconds in the big nail lamp first before applying the nails
6.) When doing # 1 and # 4, for me its easier to do one hand at a time so i don't get dirt or dust on my nails because the primer and glue are sticky for that and could cause them to pop off earlier7.) Don't put the nails so close to your cuticles so you are able to blend them into your own nail much better with you e-file
7.) Get your self a goose neck lamp it will be so much easier as you'll be able to see better
8.) After flash curing under the small lamp make sure to cure under the big lamp for 60 seconds same also goes with using gel polish
9.) If you ever mess up on a nail colour you don't like you can file off the colour and start again it will just take your nails longer to do iv'e had that happen to me quite a few times before
10.) In the other video i watched of yours from 5 months ago some other people had some suggestions of using builder gel at the cuticles to make your nails last even longer after they grow out before changing to a new set and iv'e found that helpful for my self so i hope you have to
& 11.) I just wanted to say i really like your nails they are really pretty and ill be trying out the design for my self one day after i get more products as i ran out as i'm a big fan of doing gel x
added - forgot to say just keep watching lots and lots of videos of people doing gel x nails it helps me so much as i feel like i missed some things but i cant remember what that are lol and iv'e already said a lot so i'm sure you could find lots of other helpful things about doing gel x nails by watching lots of other nail videos like I do. I know you have the other big UV light , would you say that lil one that comes w the kit does the job without the big one for the most part? I only ask bc I’m waiting to get the rest of my nail toolz 😅😂 thank you for these videos they have been so helpful !!!
Yes definitely but it just takes so much longer when trying to just do regular gel paint on the whole hands. It’s great for nail art etc but if your just trying to do basic gel paint going one by one will take so much longer but can be done for sure!

How long do these gel tips last?
The longest I’ve had them on for was 3 weeks and at that point they still weren’t lifting I just really needed a fill so I took them off. I’ve been really impressed with them, they last just as long as acrylics!
