  • The buck I chased all last year, "The Big Ate", showed back up. I thought this deer didn't make it through last year's hunting season, but he is alive and well.

    How awesome is that to know he is still around! Well with only a few days left, I’m sure that if an arrow doesn’t find him, we all know where someone will be spending some time during rifle season! Best of luck to you!

    I herd u talk about shed hunting in ur rut bed video you can't shed hunt in pa if u get caught bro they charge ten a point be careful

    • @HardwayOutdoors
      @HardwayOutdoors  Před 3 lety

      I believe you are mistaken. They charge you $10 per point if the antler is still connected to the skull of the animal. Such as picking up roadkill or a dead head in the woods. Sheds are fair game any day of the year. Thanks for watching!

    Nice buck. You get on them. I am going to suggest that you use a cover scent. I recommend skunk but anise oil is said to work as well.

    Surprised you stayed put knowing the wind was swirling. The one thing you’ll never fool is their nose. Either way that was a great hunt!

    There is no way you can tell that's the same deer as past one from past years

      PAnite hunter Not true. Bucks have several physical characteristics that don’t change year to year. I’ve watched twin bucks here in N.C. PA from fawns till they’re 4 1/2 yo perfect 8 pts. Only way to tell them apart was their antler bases were a bit different diameter and color.

    • @weaverkevin5462
      @weaverkevin5462 Před 3 lety

      Totally agree uncle fudd you can see year from year if you have cameras and record them. Have been doing that for years

    • @panitehunter7884
      @panitehunter7884 Před 3 lety

      You cannot tell me that you see a deer this year and then see a deer next year and tell me that it is the same exact deer from the previous year I don't care how many cameras or anything you have out unless it has a distinct body feature a little bit extra white somewhere no white patch a split ear you cannot say that that is the same deer from the year before there might be genetics that make some of these deer look alike but you cannot tell me that it is the same dear
