investors like you should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder.
It's unfortunate most people don't have such information. I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $45k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Doesn't matter if the economy is misbehaving; great wealth managers will always make returns.
I've been looking to get one, but have been kind of relaxed about it. Could you recommend your advis0r? I'll be happy to use some help
I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with the popularly 'Leah Foster Alderman' for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up.

I think NVDA will keep going to around 200 by December I probably sound crazy but with a few dips along the way there. It feels the same to me as SHOP was a few years ago but this is more substantive.

I added to my NVDA position after the bearish engulfing candle in March... It looked and felt like a top as it was topping. It crossed $2T, it was an ATH... My acnt grew immensely. It's just a quality business with increasing margins. Margins were said to top out at 76% and no way they would sell more gh100s,... It ran up margins to 78%. Dunno, maybe I have to wait 3 months to top $140... I've got worse problems in life.
The battlefield commission might be the best analogy for index fund re balancing. I'm going to start using that all the time now when explaining Diversification and indexing. From here on and hence forth will be referred to and referenced as the Josh Brown battlefield commission analogy.
Guys, the part you are missing with EA is College Football 25. The game has been dormant for 10 years, and gamers are going nuts for to play their college teams, etc, check the social sentiment. Madden will do okay but fans know it’s pretty much the same every year with some slight enhancements
Love the show. I notice JB gets really fired up about technical analysis a lot of times. I'm not saying TA is useless (like they try to teach that it is in business schools), because it plays into human psychology, which is enduring and never useless in investing.
But treating TA like it's a crystal ball is just flat out wrong, and TA can be and often is wrong or misleading. I'm 100% sure JB knows that, but wish he'd clarify for the audience more often, who may be less knowledgeable about TA's far from perfect predictive powers.
I'm aware that since fundamentals are fairly meaningless in the short term, we try to grasp at other things, but just because we make some chart and say "This happened 12 of the last 12 times", doesn't mean it can't happen 0 out of the next 12 times.

Great show. Touched on a lot of things I have been thinking about lately. First, stop trying to predict Nvidia. You guys are twisting yourselves trying to guess what will happen and so far it has defied all logic. It is a pure momentum stock with a lot of support. Until AI euphoria dies down (which could be 10 weeks, 10 months, or 10 years) just own some. Secondly, I’ve been looking hard at JEPI and JEPQ. I am semi retired and want some passive income starting next year. Something like $400k will give me $3k a month to cover necessities. All my other investments will keep riding until I need to sell some. Finally, I am with Josh on Prime commercials. As a retiree, time is not as important to me so I can sit through a few minutes of commercials. I really don’t mind it at all. I still have CZcams Premium as I use the platform far more than any other streams and share the account with my family.
PUTW has been around the longest as a put/write strategy ETF. And it has outperformed JEPI.

Technicals are horseshit. I remember all these technical analysts making similar predictions the last time Nvidia dropped a few months ago. "It's the top, A cup and handle, the flaming candlestick. blah blah blah. Two weeks later it had skyrocketed to new highs. No technical analysts bs to be found.

This might be a near term top, but likely not for long. Underestimating Nvidia is like underestimating waters’ ability to stay wet 😑. I’m going with no more correction for a while… maybe not till another run up after August earnings report.

Exactly, that's why it makes absolute no sense for ppl on the screen all the time talking about "is the market overvalued" , "what the market will do next' etc. There's a huge bifucartion between the mega tech/recession stocks, and the rest of the market.
Are JEPQ dividends qualified or non-qualified? edit, just checked and they are taxed at ordinary income. And if you don't reinvest your return compared to the Q's is terrible and if you do reinvest you have a bunch of ordinary income and no cash to pay it. I think most people are buying these because they want the income month to month and if so your return relative to the Qs is abysimal. Just buy the Q's and put some of your funds in treasuries if you need income.

You guys should do a bit more homework before you talk about JEPI and JEPQ Brynn on CNBC knows all about them they are often her final trades on half time - sorry I do like you guys but you are way off on commenting on these etf. For example JEPQ has a yield of 10% and paid monthly and also uses covered calls JEPI yield is a little lower at 7.5% paid monthly not quarterly
facts... also, these are supposed to perform better not worse when market volatility rises

Covered call strategy is dumb as hell. How Michael likes these, especially as a guy who likes sports betting is beyond me. It’s like paying heavy juice to Vegas. You’re losing over the long term. If you want to be in the stock market but can’t stand the volatility then just stay out of the market or reduce your exposure appropriately.

Love these guys but they obviously don’t play video games. Madden has literally zero innovation for past 4 years. They got busted using the same mechanics from 2020 and 2022. EA is trash company IMO.
Great segment on NVDA. I have no idea if NVDA "topped out" or not this week but it hit my -12.5% stop from its recent peak at $135.58 so I'm out (at least until it hits my re-entry point, which I've set a few percentage points above its recent peak and assuming it remains in the top 50 1-yr momentum list...if all this comes together then it's somewhat pressure-tested to be back on the momentum rails and back in my portfolio). It's been a fun ride but I'm out of it starting today.
I shorted NVDA at a cost basis of $118.78. Great company, stock price is way too high.
You have no idea what you are talking about, I could expound on why this is the case. Go look at the fundamentals and if you have the balls continue shorting I see you at the end of the year..

I never short anything. Your odds of nailing the top are slim. Even if you nail the top, a downtrend trades so extremely unpredictably that it’s not worth it.
