Everything about this video is depressing, it hit me the most at the end even when girl C and boy B cared so much about girl A, they need to move on and its symbolize by them destroying everything they have related and reminded of her and girl A just looking empty in her remains just accepted it... This channel made a good and respectable interpretation on Siinamota songs I really hope he makes more animation.
My theory Side c is a friend who feels like she could have been a reason why her friend suicided and we see this when she is looking at the book because the note was probably written there and she saw what her friend was going through and gets angry at herself because she didnt realize what her friend was going through and the part where she slaps her friends hand when her friend reaches out to her is probably because she feels as if he could have been the reason or the cause because she probably put a lot of pressure unknowingly on her about wanting to be friends because she didn’t know what her friend was going through and was truly traumatized by what she had done Side b is probably a wannabe of side a and tries so much but can never really be as good as side a, but when it shows she dies side b becomes top of class either making him proud to look down on her or making him realize that’s not everything in life Side a is the academically excellent girl who goes through severe pressure and mental torture from her parents so she can be at the top of her class but she wanted to keep trying because she didn’t want to disappoint or make anyone sad but she most likely couldn’t take it anymore, she thought there was no other way to escape it other than suicide but when she was about to do she broke down maybe realizing how she would hurt others if she hurt herself and she probably wrote a note which side c would see, but the torture got to her and she ended up taking her life If you think anything here is wrong just reply with what you think I should change
Girl C and Boy B are both trying to catch up to Girl A. Girl C can't compete against her in art, and Boy B can't compete against her in grades. I don't think there's subtext in the video to imply that Girl C was the direct cause of Girl A's death in the way you describe. That bullying thread you have seems quite dramatic and like a bit of a reach. Rather, it seems that Girl A received a what might have been a love letter. We don't know for sure, but whatever it was convinced Boy B not to confess his feelings to her. He seems to have been planning to plant his own love letter in her locker. Girl C lashes out at Girl A and refuses her help because she cracks after trying continuously for so long, but still losing to her. Doesn't look like a bullying situation on the part of the friends. The combined pressure of working hard and being praised for doing the best, but not finding fulfillment... being doted on by adults, being resented by other kids... your life being subordinate to your accomplishments. These are the kinds of things that drove Girl A to abandon life. At the end, Boy B and Girl C are struck with the fact that they lost a friend-- someone that ultimately meant a lot to them. But they got caught up in their pursuits. They both end up abandoning what they worked so hard at. We see Girl A grasp for the torn-up pages sadly-- it's almost like she blames herself in that picture. Girl A is characterized throughout the video as a truly good kid that just wants to support her friends. This video is so heart-wrenching to me because all of these emotions are so relatable for kids. You're growing up, you're a bit immature, and ultimately everyone is just looking to be loved in the end. Nobody is a bad guy-- every character is just going through their own stuff.
I know I probably have the story being told wrong, but In advance I don't know Japanese C is some kind of childhood friend who was pushed out of A's life due to academic success B always tried and failed to measure up to her A slit her own wrists due to a bad home life and extreme pressure put on her
oh my god how could i only found this now. the colours, the atmosphere, the simplicity, the transitions.. they absolutely works so well with each other. i cant express my love enough for this project.
I was moved to tears. As you watch, the pieces connect and the story becomes clear. It paints such an honest, kind, and brutal picture of relationships and external expectation... how awful it can be to have greatness expected of you, how horrible it feels to work so, so hard but *still* fail to succeed... I related to all of the characters. Beautiful animation. Ganymede Weather Forecast's colors are beautiful and the environments are so clean! Powapowa-P, I'll never stop listening to your music.
Holy fucking shit. I love this animation so much, and even listening to this song normally gets me sad, but this? I have to try not to bawl every time.

Bくんが手紙を破いてる→恋を諦める。
破いたものが、紙吹雪となってAちゃんに降る→Aちゃんを賞賛している。
ってことなのかな､､､と思ったりしました。どんなに頑張って結果を残しても、誰にも認めて貰えなかったAちゃんの救いが、この2人なのだとしたら、2人に憎まれてるって知って悲しかったのかな､､､Cちゃんは夢を、Bくんは自分の気持ちを捨てることで、Aちゃんに償おうとしたのかも。Aちゃんはおそらく他界してると思われるので、最後のシーンは3人にとっての、「叶わなかった本当の理想」だったのかもしれないですね。
