Not that I know of but I seriously live for this type of interesting topics
Clinton Rd in NJ!
What about Urban Legends from the South Carolina?
šš
The US sure is home to some unnerving urban legends and folklore. Another one worth mentioning is Green Eyes from the Civil War battlefield of Chickamauga, Georgia. A ghastly ghoul of a beast that devours both the living and the dead, the carnage of the battle attracted it though it apparently is older than the battle. The mystery of its origins makes it more terrifying.
Man, that clip of the Jersey Devil from Lost Tapes makes me feel old. Man what a series, even though it looks goofy now.
We need a movie for the good ol' Jersey Devil.
Watched one years ago, so I don't remember properly the title -"The Barrens" if not mistaken.
I enjoy watching your videos. That’s why I subscribed to your channel. Sometimes I learned some thing that I didn’t know from your videos other times I am entertained. But this one you did on the top 10 urban legends in the United States, is my favorite anything that has to be done with the paranormal supernatural, and even Cryptids are my favorite topics, as well as superheroes and TV and movies, of course Can I make a suggestion how about a countdown featuring creepy or heroic podcasts or audiobooks?
I am from Baltimore and people would always talk about the bunny man when we would go playing near the train tracks near our house. I had no idea it spread as far as Virginia too.
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! 6:02 That creature looks just like the original gargoyle-like Chupacabra from the 90s. 🥶
Lost Tapes got a shoutout, day has been made.
Literally all these urban Legends should Inspire some movies
The Mothman Prophecies, scared the crap out of me.
Even a legend in dc comic and Batman movie
Fun fact in the uk during the great year of 1933 up near Scotland there was a slew of citings of the creatures that would later be dubbed the lock ness monster the month of the first ever sighting a movie with a very similar picture of a monster came out the movie would be King Kong
It’s though most of the early sightings were considered as people seeing a normal animal and after watching King Kong thinking it was a monster !
There’s a fun fact for you .

"Harry and The Hendersons:😁
There's also the Michigan wolfman. I'm not an American, but i have heard about the stories, the urban legends, all of it. There's also the Skinwalker, which is said to be a shaman of sort that practises black magic and do ungodly things. It's something the Navajo knows well, even if they don't want to talk about it.
The Micigan Wolfman is a werewolf like creature, just like the beast of bray road.
My native Sweden has a few urban legends of our own. The Swedish urban legends aren't as well known as the American ones. Few here in Sweden even talks about it. It's something we Swedes keeps hush hush about. It's seen as something you don't want to talk about here.
I live in Michigan and more often hear it called the Dog Man.
I live in the north east US. I saw a chupacabra the other day. I even managed to snap a real blurry crypto photograph on my phone!
As someone originally from Calhoun County, Alabama, the same county as Oxford, Alabama, it’s nice for our stories to receive some recognition. There’s actually several other haunted bridges in the area. There used one in particular where if you flashed your lights on at night a ghost ambulance would appear. When they’re were teenagers, in the 80s, my mom and her friends actually went to the bridge at night and did it. Right as they flashed the lights off for a third time an actual ambulance did appear on the bridge with its lights on. It terrified the crap out of all of them and her friend who was driving out the car in reverse and floored it. I think the ambulance drivers knew the legend and just happened to see some teens doing the ritual and decided to screw with them.
Compared to other creatures, Mothman is the most tame, ya it’ll chase people but there isn’t proof of it killing and eating people. It just simply scares people.
I've heard Mothman described as more of an omen, usually showing up before disaster strikes. Although there are claimed sightings, there's not really much in terms of it being aggressive towards people.
Thanks for the Video 😀
Oh I love Bigfoot! In the popular video from the (I believe) 1960's, it seems clear that it's probably just someone in an outfit: Doesn't he do a little hand wave at the camera? He even got a movie: Harry and the Hendersons. And I have a t-shirt with a Bigfoot that says "Believe in yourself, even if no one else does."
folklore is my one true passion. i would go to the ends of every earth to find obscure legends.
The Skinwalker, The Bridgewater Triangle and The Hockomock Swamp located in the said Triangle, State Route 29 in Ohio, The Skunk Ape…the list goes on and on and while this country is young the land isn’t.
Man bear pig is real! I’m super serial!
Also Mojo, how about a list of actual paranormal legends like Marfa and Anson lights in Texas, etc?
Where I live there's a rural town called Reilly. All kinds of stories come from there. The cold presence of a hanged girl on a bridge. The light from a boys bicycle that was killed by a train. There are other stories but when I was a teenager driving through seeing traffic signs with a spray paint stenciled word: Moo
These aren't just the top 10 American urban legends, These are some of the greatest urban legends in American history. If it weren't for the monsters and cryptids on this list we'd be living in a country without mystery.
Pink slime is an American mystery on its own
Pink slime is an American mystery on its own
Awesome list
I mean, we found a Chupacabra. Sort of. I can live with that. Especially considering how Bigfoot, Mothman, all of them are probably gone by now.
There's also Resurrection Mary outside Chicago and The Beast Of Bray Road in Wisconsin
I pass through riverdale road on my way to the gym. I’ve driven it many many times. I’ve driven it sober, high, high as hell, happy, sad. I’ve even parked in different areas, turned off my pickup and sat quietly. I have never seen or heard anything worth writing home about. It is a nice drive though.
What do you think these urban legends would be like if they were real?
Good vid MOJO you should do a creepy facts about ed kemper
The bunny man story sounds cute at first, but it's really scary. The jersey devil is the scariest urban legend on this list. The wendingo is the second scariest.
Don't forget about the Illinois Corn Monkeys!!!! They are a batch when you are out walking and detasselling cornfields 😮❤😂
It just inspired me to make a comic book like all my other comic books.
I love the Monstrum channel btw!
Honestly these urban legends would give anybody nightmares. Except me because I don't scare that easily anymore. You can thank video games for that
Only Cropsey I know about is the 1981 horror classic, The Burning.
Thank you for posting the most interesting facts
The wendigo is a common native urban legend all over northern Canada. Don't whistle after dark.
Lost tapes the first found footage tv show that got me scared heartless
Could you do banished characters next?
Hearing someone say number three's name so many times without audibly flinching is.. kinda chilling to me. Usually with creatures from Native lore, it's not recommended to say their names, at least that is a custom where I'm from. I'm not Native, only having reference to what I've heard floating around from them here. Does anyone else have this same social rule in their area?
You rang?
I need to be a cryptid investigator. Whose with me??
I'm not a cryptid.
Can you guys do a "Top 20 Fearsome Critters" video, please?
"Resurrection Mary", Chicago
I would love to face all those monsters
Hey, @WatchMojo, can you do Top 10 South Carolina Urban Legends?
You should check out the tall men and the fairies lights in Tuolumne County California.
Cool but also weird and creepy
Mothman legend is creepy but cool
Big Foot? When the guy who wore the suit comes right out and says "here's the suit, the boots, the camera and my friend Bob who shot the film" there's no mystery how 60 year old men can still live in mom's basement. Harry & the Hendersons???
The Mothman Prophecies movie is a lot creepier than you might remember.
you are incorrect. big foot is real
@@SuperCaptainFail Maybe, there's a lot of things in the woods that don't want to be found and still scare the crap out of me. But the original 1967 film is a fake, Bigfoot would NEVER be caught out in the open like that, he's not an idiot. Or you could be yanking my chain.
I never knew about Thornton Colorado and I live near there lol.
Anyone got any stories about that riverdale ghost Camaro?
I'm from philippines but I really love deep true urban legend to american 🤩 a
Wow
omg. i passed by the place where in the begining of the video there was a slightly open door... i know its the same place because i searched it
10:57 turns out, in our property there's a tipi shaped structure made from fallen pine logs, far to heavy for a man to lift. Who else believes in sasquatch
Interesting facts 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Love your spam
Urban legend from Arkansas. The Fouke Monster. A movie "The Legend of Boggy Creek." was based on it.
Hail Mothman!
@watchmojo you can do urban legends on Australia
3 minutes ago is crazy
I will say I live off of riverdale road and drive it multiple times a day and I have never seen anything :( ghosts don’t like me
Oh they are all legends..
Woah
Bigfoot was revealed years ago to be a guy named Bob Heironimus in a suit.
Just started the video but I doubt it has the urban legend from here in eastern Maine. Either a newlywed couple or a couple that was headed to prom, can’t remember exactly which but they crashed and the woman died on a stretch of road that goes through some woods. She haunts the road, can be seen hitchhiking or just standing on the side of the road on her wedding gown/or prom gown. She only appears for vehicles driving through that is not occupied by another female. I know I probably have some of the legend wrong though.
Mountain monsters
Shame the Axeman of New Orleans wasn’t on the list
The Beast of Bray Road
The Dogman
Hahahaha I live near Oxford alabama. We consider it a "big" city. 😂😂 I mean, we're not delusional about it. But relative to the surrounding areas, it is. It has the closest mall, closest movie theater, unless you go to Birmingham in the other direction, it's the only place in the areas you'll find an olive garden or outback steakhouse.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter 🪦
Here's some scary Honorable Mentions
The Flatwoods Monster,Braxton West Virginia
The Devils Highway,Arizona
Black Eyed Kids,Texas
Skinwalkers,American Southwest
The Men in Black,West Virginia
Now that's disturbing
0:30 that was haunted house
What about Skunk Ape?
I’ve actually seen the Blood Mary. No lie.
If Bigfoot was real somebody would have been hunted him down and bragged about his body on the wall. Yeah Bigfoot is way too smart to be caught.
One more youtube video before bed
The video💀
'#10 riverdale archie
Isn’t the wendigo a native Among urban legend?
there is a movie that has to do with the mothman but i dont remember the name of the movie

The only difference here in Asia, is that we can capture these beasts and eat them, since we are poor and hungry ~ 🤣🤣🤣
Yes it’s our turn us Americans because since they covered Japanese Mexicans ones I guest it’s our turn now
The Wendigo might have been the inspiration for the SCP known as SCP 096, aka The Shy Guy, a being that will kill anyone that sees its’ face (look it up)
No te preocupes por el momento no sé si DjMaRiiO a
