Hmm, quite interesting, i have also a babyliss and after 5 mine it dies. I have put in a new motherboard with battery but in maximum 5 mins dies.
I think i definetly put the spring wrong like u showed, i will check and come back.
But i have another question, everytime i close the case, , i close the case firmly it cuts motor power, i have to leave the top screws a bit loose, any idea? If i tight them too much cuts motor power
