In this series we focus on free/cheap tools to provide basic network monitoring and alerting. In this episode, we focus on using namp scripts and Papertrailapp to know what's on our network, and identify new systems coming online/offline, etc. We finish out with a demo of Opencanary and how it can be used as a "tripwire" for malicious actors.
