A flawless vocal performance by Donna Summer, her backup artists and great band. I love the authentic 70's arrangement of the music. Great reaction video. Thanks for spotlighting Donna Summer. I can tell you appreciate her as an artist, one of the best actually. Thank you for giving her her flowers. I feel that she has been largely unappreciated by the music industry and general public. She was one of the finest pop singers in the world with a clear voice that was super feminine and sexy yet powerful as well. And one of the few true vocalists who had physical beauty to match. She was the total package. Thanks again for this. I'd also like to give you your flowers for your passion for the music of Donna Summer and all artists. Great work, my friend.

I had the honor of producing a benefit concert for Gay Men's Health Crisis in the 90s with Donna at Carnegie Hall to raise money for AIDS services. It was an amazing night. This was after the controversy and she couldn't have beenore gracious. And we raised a lot of money! Later i also produced a Barry Manilow benefit and we brought in Donna as a surprise and the dueted with Donna's version. Another amazing night raising a lot of money.

Thank you for keeping Donna Summers memory alive. This song was originally recorded by Barry Manilow. Barry's version is good, but Donna's version blew it out the park especially the studio version. It was a huge disco hit.

This was a great performance from Donna Summer back in the day. It's originally by Barry Manilow, which he sang beautifully. They actually performed it together as Donna was a guest at one of his shows. I hope it's still on CZcams. Thank you for your reaction as she remains my all time favorite female singer. Her live version of "If There Is Music There" will captivate you.
thanks for mentioning her power voice. it was so big and could also be so light. she had a tone that is so clear and strong. i always said very few could match her power. its like she has to hold herself back sometimes. she is known for doing one take on her recordings and be perfect. a producers dream
Great reaction, love your reactions to her music. Please do "A Man Like You", from the Midnight Special. She came on the scene and pushed all female singers to another level, to strive for more. I agree with you, her beautiful spacious voice made her one of the greatest voices in pop music. She was pop music's first female mega star (the most commercially successful female artist of the 70s).
Donna: My favorite. I would suggest you check out her performance with Kenny Rogers as they sing a melody of all the American Music Award nominated songs. Just search Donna, Kenny Rogers, America Music Awards.

Ok, so you just did Barbra, and now Donna, but have you ever heard the two together dueting one of the most iconic Disco songs, "No more Tears/Enough Is Enough"? If not, it's a MUST. Highly recommend the long 8-min. version. And if you have, may I suggest Playlists on both so it's easier looking up stuff you may have already done. Thanks, Pat.
