Being famous is a very lonely existence when everything you do is watched by billions of people. You forget loneliness extends far beyond mere relationships, and can transcend into pure human to human interactions; like the societal expectations and pressure placed on you by billions of people you don't even know who only value you because of how you entertain them.
You don't seem to be able to have empathy for her, or her life, even if her life is completely different than yours. I doubt you are a celebrity constantly pulled into a hundred directions with constant judgement from eyes across the world.
Ironically, this is the point of her documentary/movie, revealing the pure humanness of her soul, so we understand that she is just like us: discovering herself, healing, growing, learning, evolving.

Exactly. I know people that dont get it think its hating but to me real love should be intimate and sacred and not used to make an entire musical to show it off. I get that she’s a public figure but her relationship shouldn’t be for the public. Ben clearly isn’t into putting their relationship on the spotlight all the time so instead of her feeding her ego all the time, she should honor her husband’s wishes. Maybe its time for her to slow down a bit and just be a mother and wife for awhile. She can still work behind the scenes and do occasional red carpets.

It's not self serving. I think this was a catharsis for her and very healing. It takes a lot to share your inner most insecurities with strangers and people you know will be critical. i saw it and i liked it. it's short, sweet and the dancing is marvelous. But is this the documentary behind the creation of that visual album?
I watched it on prime and it was interesting. Jennifer gives a look into her inner life. And the agony, tragedy and ecstasy of it is that she worked from a very young age towards accomplishing her dreams in the showbusiness, and she succeeded.
And now that she's reviewing it and looking back, it seems it wasn't worth it because it's all full of disappointments, privately and professionally.
I see a complicated woman in her 50s, and at one point she references to the 16 year old version of herself before all the disappointments and sadness that came with it.
