What a lovely get-a-way weekend. Good to get ideas of what's out there and compare prices in different areas. The resorts and restaurants looked fun!

impressed with Palm Springs thrift/estate sales, a lot of the detritus of the 70’s. i’m a glass collector and was surprised that most for sale was wood and metal. they did have good art if you had a big budget. thanks for sharing with us!!
I know so bummed! I’m always looking for diamonds in the rough haha but that table and chairs at the estate sale was really the best deal I saw. what kind of glass do you collect? and I honestly wish I had the budget. I was so into one piece of art but it was $900!!!! Goodbye haha. Maybe in the future when I’ve made it big lol
@@livingwithlk i collect very old american glass from the 1800’s. most of the manufacturers were closer to the east coast. i’m always interested in what is available across the country, nyc really does not have good will or other national thrift stores, everything is overpriced here.

Who'd have thought that "retro" look of your motel and the room would have a 'revival' of sorts?! Gotta love the Palm Springs area!
right?! I love Palm Springs because it’s only 2 hours away from LA or SD and it truly feels like I’m somewhere else completely! It’s great! I love Santa Barbara for this reason too. Maybe should do a trip there in the future!
