The way the white paper revealed the patterns underneath was really special because you had the openings plus the transparency. I enjoyed the colours a lot too; I have the liquitex muted colours in inks, but I had forgotten about them so it was nice to have you remind about them. Hey Froyle, I was thinking of you and the Kozo paper recently when I was on a guided tour of Thailand. We went to Sukhothai where the Kozo paper company is. I wanted to go and see but no time available for that. Next day we went to a place that makes paper made out of mulberry leaves and turns it into umbrellas and things. You can buy a big sheet with leaves and flowers in it. They turn the paper into umbrellas, lanterns and writing paper so I bought some of that instead. Thailand was great and it was good value for money on the mainland. Thanks for your videos❤

@@FroyleArt I went with Encounter Travel based in Sydney. They do tour groups for solo travellers. The Thai guide that ran the tour for them was excellent.
If you would have let the triangle/circle piece dry longer on the plate, would that have prevented the tearing or would it have stuck more? I’m new to gelli printing, just bought mine. You are SUCH an inspiration. 💕💕 love your work.
Yes it probably could have stuck less if it was dryer! It was the inbetween stage! Get it off while it’s still wet or wait until it has completely dried! 👍🏼 Happy creating, cheers😘

If you put copy paper on both sides of a new gelli plate and leave it on for a week, it absorbs the excess oil and resolves the lacing problem

Hi Froyle, I absolutely love your attitude to art, you make it so fun and I now realize it doesn’t matter how anything turns out, just enjoy it all. Could you please tell me what paper to use when doing a collage if I don’t use canvas as the base, I already have some watercolor and thick mixed media paper, but,haven’t tried them yet.
