Nathan Leach... if it's medical grade nitrous oxide, a person wouldn't care how fast or slow it is. It would be a party every time you got on it. Just hook up a little breathing tube to the bottle.

I have a Handicare Stairlift and rarely use it because it's too slow. I'll take the risk of falling
This is a failure of the installers to properly accommodate your reasonable desire for convenience.
Get it adjusted then!
I have the handicare one does the job safely but slowly ,very pleased with it X?
