This absolutely brought me to tears, so many memories flooded back into my mind, meloncoly of Haruhi Suzumiya was my 2nd anime I ever watched after Bleach, and it's a classic this homage was masterfully done.
I started crying immediately, this one really came out of the blue for me and this song is so interconnected with a lot of precious memories from 10+ years ago for me. Honestly it's a classic

Ehh, correct me if I'm wrong, but this came way before endless eight. The episode where Haruhi sings God Knows I believe is one of the last from the firts season. Endless Eight is right in the middle of the second season. If you were trying to watch the anime "in the correct order" and not chronologically as they came out, yeah, you have to go through endless eight. Yet again, I'm one of those few who liked endless eight and all kind of loop/temporal travels/cycles in stories.
I have a lot of criticisms of Remake Our Life, but this moment was awesome. I was obsessed with Haruhi back in the 2000s and I used to listen to this song on repeat. The second the guitar part started I yelled "GOD KNOWS" and confused the heck out of my girlfriend.
I feel the same, god knows was one of the songs I listened to on repeat in the past. Haruhi Suzumiya was one of my first anime and I enjoyed the fuck out of it. So when I heard this song it made me remember my early days of anime, as cringy as that sounds

@@AmaitaYume I think it was because of the fact that "her art was always there for him" as he said in Ep 3, and I think it's the wise and uplifting words that come out of Shinoaki from time to time to help him on the early episodes that made her more attractive, but yeah, I was hurt too when Nanako saw what happened.

Now imagine Nanako gets depressed or smth, and he comes to help her, and eventually they end up together.
I've never seen the anime but it surely does bring back nostalgic feeling. Though, Haruhi's version is way more impactful and well animated especially the instrument part.
