Heavy-duty extension boards are expensive. This is a low-cost homemade method to make an extension cable reel.
At least it solves my problem. I didn't think too much into this little thing. Sometimes I am making small jigs that would save some time and effort. Some times it is purely about not getting frustrated before recording something!!!
I usually don't make videos like these but if you like these kinds of content, let me know.
"After watching the video, you may say that I shouldn't have kept 4 sockets but only one would have been enough.
But then it would need an additional power extension board for my power tools.
I don't own cordless tools, most of my tools are corded. Switching between tools requires a lot of plugging and unplugging. It is repetitive, tiring and damages the power cords faster than normal.
Also, I thought of making this on a rotating spool, But I would be too heavy and unnecessary. It would be effortless sure!!! but I bet it would not be time-saving.
Maybe this idea is not great after all, but it will surely kindle your minds to make something. Adapting this idea anyone can tweak or upgrade it as per one's own necessity

Good , simple and practical solution to cable extension s
Glad you liked it
One sujetion bro please buy separate 15amp switch and 15 amp socket .Why means when switch became fault means we can replace separately.Otherwise lot of cost in joint switch with socket. Buy switch and socket which is made of pigon so that it may live long in most brand switch and socket back side pins or plastic holders it may melt quick because of heat .As a well wisher
I could have bought the sockets and switch separately, but when I started , I had a different plan. Later I changed the idea. SO I used what I had bought. No matter what good brand we buy, for the kind of heavy duty work i am doing, It is going wear out faster. Thanks for the tip though!
@@VIDEOEPPO welcome
nice job, i think you can add a handle to carry and a wall hanging screw slot to hang it. that would be nice and so you can patent it and sell to some company))))
True. This is the first one. I am waiting for more suggestion like your , to make it better

Hi Josh, How did you do the internal connections?
It's a simple connection bro. Face wire goes into one terminal of switch. The other terminal of the switch is connected to the left terminal socket using a small piece of connecting wire . The neutral wire is connected in the right pin of the socket. The top pin of the socket is where earth wire is connected.
All four sockets are connected in parallel using connecting wires.
