  • We are often so busy that we forget about today. My happy hens reminded me of a few words of wisdom that were shared to me recently.
It is often the beautiful sayings treasured by our older people, that make most sense for today. The few words of wisdom in this video are another example.
Thanks for taking the time to read

Stepping Stones on our Spiritual Journey
I am sometimes asked 'What is your CZcams Channel about?' So I try and answer with something of the following...
We all need stepping stones on our spiritual journey. You will find in these stepping stone videos, the beautiful message that God loves you - You are precious and special - Be yourself - It's ok to make a mistake - Be open to a blessing in your life each day - There will be prayers for you and those we love - Live each day as best you can - Feel God's presence in the beauty of nature and creation - Be grateful for the little things - Give yourself time to pause, unwind and reflect -
We will gently explore all of these & so much more. As a priest working in the Diocese of Cork and Ross I hear people say to me more and more: "I am spiritual but not religious". This channel is a humble & gentle attempt to reach out to those who sense and feel God in their lives but have little connection to more organised religion. Hopefully this channel can be a stepping stone for you to finding peace, light, comfort, hope and spiritual strength. The first step is to know God loves you.

Thank you, Fr. James. We hope you're well settled in your new parish. We really miss you in Bantry. I have a friend (Mary O'Brien) on Goat's Path who also has hens, she calls them "her girls". I will share your message with her. God bless. Best wishes. Bernie Redmond

Thanks so much Bernie for your feedback. I have so many beautiful memories of Bantry and the surrounding areas. There is no place like West Cork! Your friend Mary's 'girls' will certainly get plenty of fresh air up on the Goat's Path! They are a lovely addition to any garden. I also have some ducks and they are out and about during the day. They are great for hoovering up all the slugs and make growing vegetables so much easier. I must make a video of them some day soon!
