Currently in a village outside Freetown, Sierra Leone - kids walk over 9 miles every day just to get to school! It is a six hour journey with the daily threat of malnutrition, abduction, child labor and disease.
Many are forced to drop out, which keeps the community stuck in a cycle of poverty.
OUR GOAL: To place education within reach for these children and fund, furnish and staff Muddy Lotus Secondary School for one year
