You should do a trial like this but it’s building!
P.S. if you do this, I really think using plots through a plot plugin and FAWE (fast-asynchronous worldedit) would be the best way to go.
Or, you could potentially stagger the trials like you have in the past, and slowly increase the plot size, time, and tools, so like, no worldedit at the start but then advanced worldedit at the end.

Due to teaming, targeting, and cleaning this event is more of a “who’s the best at large scale ffa” rather than the best 1.9+ pvper 1vs1 tournament style would have been better. Plus 1.8.9 pvp should have been a separate event which is still very popular possibly more popular than 1.9+.

Looking forward to the manhunt against the best team you can assemble. However do remember that being the best at certain tasks doesn't guarantee the best at teamwork.
I disagree on some of the tests. You can't limit people to find who the best is. Block placements, how you eat and everything is all important. I feel like a more tournament based style would have been a better representation.

Umm he is finding the quote on quote best PvP player. Not an average. And the best pvpier must cope and have no problems in being a killing machine in any situations. Limiting them made them actually unlock their truest potential
@@legitabdullah846 Nah, the best aren't going to go out there with just an axe, lol. If they're thrown into a situation where it's just a bunch of kids running around back stabbing each other they would go more prepared. There was no thought process for the people in the first round really, relied too heavily on a luck standard. There is no adaptive argument there, it's literally impossible to out eat two people hitting you with an axe crit without proper supplies. Get outta here with that nonsense.

When you say the "deadliest player" you mean the player that has many kills and almost no deaths. In this video i saw that the winners from each round dont have the most kills, but they won with 1,2 or 3 kills while one player that has been eliminated had 4 or 5 kills.
P.S I dont say that this happened in each round but it happened in some rounds
Potential deadliness increases with ability to survive, someone who dies after 5 kills in the alloted period ends there, someone who survives with 3 can continue to accrue kills, thus being overall more dangerous

the real deadliest minecraft player was probably actually busy and doing homework
This, while fun to watch, was not a fair trial, because:
- Usage of environmental hazards to one's advantage is entirely circumstantial, and does not count towards one's skills whatsoever.
- The lack of restriction upon one's action allowed teaming, which ruins the focus of the experiment upon a single player.
- One's skill at modern pvp should be measured in terms of one's ability to utilise effective yet difficult-to-master weapons, such as end crystals, respawn anchors, and beds in the nether. Everyone should have started out with overpowered, not underpowered, gear.
- Axe pvp is very different from sword pvp, and it's both possible and common to win fights against multiple opponents armed with axes whilst wielding a sword, because of the higher damage output per second.
- It can often be much wiser to hold food or potions in one's off-hand slot rather than a shield; this preference differs between players, because different people are more skilled with different weapons.
- If you wanted to (as you said at the start) measure people's ability to utilise less powerful weapons with great skill, it would have been wiser to, for example, pit a player armed with iron weapons and armour against a control-variable player with similar yet diamond weapons and armour, so that it would require more skill to defeat them.

@@tomsterbg8130 Sure! I'd do it like a tournament, not a battle royale, in some sort of arena with no environmental hazards.
Use different kinds of matches such as 1v1, 1v2 etc to gauge different fields of expertise.
Use different types of weapons for people who are skilled in different areas.
In short, make it less of a free-for-all and more of an experiment.

As a member of the pvp community this is highly insulting. I would advise taking a small amount of time to find some actually skilled players. People like Sweatg0d, muffinHACKS, DereckLA, Stained, Stimpy, ClownPeirce (even though 1.16 pvp cringe) and many others. These are people who put in the hours and are at the top of their categories. Not only that but 1.9+ and 1.8 are soooo different. They cannot be bundled together. Not only that but it is nearly impossible to have somebody skilled enough at each to be considered the "deadliest player" however because the 1.8 community has been around longer, therefore creating a larger skill gap and skill cap, 1.8 should be the focus of the competitions. Also block placement is essential to both styles so that should have been in the first trial.

I agree with that im also playing 1.8 pvp for a long time now and 2 years ago i also started 1.16 pvp, i like both pvp types and i think im pretty acceptable at both. You are right with the skill gap, 1.8 is way sweatier then 1.16. 1.16 also has some very hard and skilled gamemodes like crystal pvp but 1.16 is a little bit more about who knows more about the game mechanics and isnt just pure practice. 1.8 on the other side IS indeed pure practice, its not about inventing a new pvp strategy to win no it is about the movement the skill with the rod different click types (although i dont think its important if you have a rod atleast i play with 6 cps and i have absolutly no problems against 20 cps as long as i have a rod) and much more. Both versions have their own skill requirements and those shouldnt be compared directly. And yes people like muffinhacks, acruse, clowpierce, X_SUS and all these guys realy put the hours in.
