- After a few days of use I’ve concluded that this set is definitely a good clipper/trimmer set. You will enjoy the shape, style and overall performance of both. I do however, believe that this will only be the case if you are not a collector of clippers or simply a person looking for something new/ revolutionary.
Overall I give the set 7/10
To me this is a solid score, it represents a clipper/ trimmer that does the job it was intended to do. Although the they are great they lack a sense of freshness that a clipper enthusiast may be looking for.
Please feel to comment and let me know what y’all think of the set.
It’s a great clipper for all around haircuts. If you do a lot of blending over comb and precision guiding the wedge blade is great. I’m a believer that every clipper has its purpose. This clipper was designed for all around clipper. The trimmer same purpose, all around/multipurpose trimmer. In the lineup of @babybliss it has its place.
Well said, I see where your coming from with that. That’s why I did say they weren’t terrible. My critique was more from the perspective of it being nothing special or new. When you have a lot of clippers this clipper just doesn’t do anything better than what I already use that’s all 🤷🏾♂️ thank you for your input though 👊🏾
It’s a great all around everyday clipper. After you swap the blade out, it’s really nice! You’re right comparing it to the magic clip. It’s got a bit more power. I like my MC, but it feels quite cheap. These feel better and cut just as nice. It’s a good everyday tool to have 😊 I got it instead of replacing my MC’s or buying the new gold MC.
I agree with your review my guy 👍🏾💯
I swapped to the fade blade on the clipper and the gold fx blade on the trimmer. They cut much better.
You have the same swap set up as me lol 😂😂
youre spot on, if you have a senior or a high rpm clipper its not a must cop, if its your first clipper itll feel great
Will buy a senior! Wahls are easy to get parts for ! Gold ones need the cam cushion replaced! Just replace the blade.
The senior is an absolute beast and a staple clipper. You Can never go wrong with one. Also they have a docking station now so it’s even better of a clipper
I felt the same way. I had to swap to fade blade after my first few cuts. Very disappointing, but the since the blade swap it’s been great.
Facts it’s not a bad clipper but, definitely had to fix them up a bit.
You're the only one saying these are trash but it makes sense they haven't done anything new, they're just copying the senior. Everyone is just all into the hype. Thanks for the review!
I couldn’t agree more, no problem at bro, there will definitely be much more honest perspectives coming from this channel 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
@@RHBlends 👍
Nah he's right they're trash
i put my low pros in blade wash and they started acting up 🥲
I have the Rebel’s, looks like I made the right choice. Anyway, I’m curious if you’ve used the Stylecraft Saber, and what your opinion is on those? Thanks.
I think you definitely did, I have the mythics and the review on those are coming soon! They are very similar to the sabers so I think you will enjoy it 🙏🏾
@@RHBlends I love both the Rebels and Sabers, the only issue I’ve ever had on them is pulling the hair, but that could be my issue. It rarely happens.. I think the difference is, that I’ve used the the detachable 76 blades for so long and they cut through anything, the issue is with fades most of the time you can’t only use the 76 you gotta switch over to rotary or brushless clippers with guards (1/2 etc…)
@@Longenecker1776 that’s very true, I find when I’m trying to blast through bulk the mythics tend to pull as well, I actually turned to my cordless masters for bulk. The more I use the magnetic clippers the more I realize they are great for fading but not really for bulk removal.
Man spitting facts......they dont cut out of the box , you have to buy other blades to a better most efficient cutting no doubts
Yea sadly 🤷🏾♂️
@@RHBlends urs getting hot too?
Lever is kinda janky gets stuck sometimes. The bump on the power button sucks(hurts your thumb), plus it should come with a fade blade and charging base should not be sold separate.
i keep going to my magic clip with the ceramic stagger tooth blade lol. i put the senior battery in it and it’s 🔥🔥
i put the gold fx on my influencer trimmer and it’s a hitter too 😝
is the regular ceramic blade good for fading?
Just got the set, I’m a new barber the clipper is getting instantly hot. It’s been oiled and aligned correctly with not luck. Any ideas on what to do next for trouble shooting ? Thanks advance
Honestly I did notice that my lo pros would get hot as well. If you’re experiencing extreme heat I would probably see if you can cash in on a warranty if you have.
Just bought the set plus the premium gaurds for $317
That’s definitely a good grab. Good stuff man hope you enjoy them 🤟🏾
Where from bro
@@mahdialmousawy8523 ordered from 614 barber supply and applied discount code EDDIE. They don't come with premium gaurds so you have to add them to your cart as well. Altogether though was a little under $317.
Man mys getting hot as hell and the trimmer 🤦🏻♂️worst i got the gold edition i dont know if is the blades or what
I don’t love the blades it comes with, I’d do the original gold fx blade for the trimmer and the fade blade for the clipper
Can it be 0 gapped? The gold fix clippers can’t without chomping on guards
Any clippers or trimmer can be 0 gapped. As for the blade biting on the clippers, it’ll happen and as far as I know, you just gotta deal with it. Unfortunately my seniors bite 2 of my guards but I can still get a good cut through
Yea bro andis revite already has this feature
What clipper do you recommend for a new barber the senior or the BaByliss
I would probably say the senior. Just because it’s an overall workhorse, good for bulk, good for fading and shaping. The babyliss is a good clipper but I think the senior still has an edge plus you can get a dock for it which the Lo Pro does not have
@@RHBlends I have the magic clips had them for a year now and honestly i feel like they aren’t as powerful what do you think my next clipper should be ? i’m willing to spend some $$
@@JG-ys6bq I would say the obvious progression is the senior but I genuinely enjoy the gamma mythic and X ergo if you want to try something different. 👍
Definitely the Senior.
Senior definitely doesn't remove bulk well
Good job Daddy 🍌💋💛
Every has their own opinions man,but alot of yours are wrong🤣
