ItsZifx I have a feeling they'll continue it at some point because that's one of the big things for Crown the Empire, I don't see how though because in the story, the Devil has been defeated, Johnny has won, I think they should create the extended music video/short movie thing, and then when a new album comes out, maybe introduce new characters or make a sequel to the trilogy, that'd be cool :D

Not a fan of Anime/Manga honestly, I think it would be amazing if it was using real people acting and real special effects and all of that, so it looks realistic and more action packed, but I guess any visual representation of this story would be pretty awesome :)

okay guys for those of you who don't understand the Johnny series: in Johnny Ringo Johnny makes a deal with the devil but is tricked and is sent to hell instead. In Johnny's Revenge Johnny tries to get revenge on the devil but fails. In Johnny's Rebellion, Johnny creates an army of angry souls to defeat the devil but this time succeeds. However, he comes to realize his power & takes the devil's place.

Honestly this song hit me like a truck. IMO the best song on the album. The theme of the whole album is phenomenal and the concept of Johnny's story is amazing as well.
They should release an album and just title it Johnny Ringo. Start with the first three tracks (rerecorded or not it really doesn't matter) and then carry on the story. Maybe he leads his army onto the regular living world and eventually seeks to take heaven, then his army turns on him or there is an uprising and eventually he has an inner fight with himself and surrenders and has to find a way of redemption. There even got the name of the last track xD Johnny's Redemption. (Obviously they all have to be Johnny R....)

I wish they had a short film for the trilogy I actually remember one time I was listening and at 5:19 through his speech I saw a bloodied man standing on top of a rocky slope next to a throne with the army of the damned below listening to his “farewell” speech and and when he says I don’t think I’m ready to leave he looks to his followers and his eyes turn crimson red and when the bass hits a crown of flames appears on his head and wings of flames to match as his army chanting to him from below and now I see that image every time I hear this song and always that’d be a cool concept for the ending

I think crown the empire is one of the best metal/alternative type bands. Their music is amazing. They don't get annoying easily and I can go days and days and weeks listening to them and never get tired them. CTE deserves more viewers than many other bands. They don't get the attention like most bands which they deserve. This new album is great and can't wait for them to make even more in the future.
I love how at near the end you get glimpses of past Johnny songs. I can't help but eargasm.

I have to say I can only imagine how much thought and effort you put into this. The lyrics, the production, the idea in general, the other songs in the Johnny trilogy were great but this takes the cake simply for how well together it is. You put a lot of time into your music, and it shows. Nicely done.
They shouldn't end Johnny's trilogy, they should make a whole damn album telling his story from the minute he was born to the minute where he invades the Earth and tears down the Heavens and conquers everything
I don't know why but I've always pictured the whole Johnny story withe a woman as the Devil. Like, Johnny fell in love with the Devil and when he was about to die he signed a pact and sold hi soul. The Devil would always let him do all those things, like kiling sinners and bad people that hurt him (in Johnny's Revenge) but finally Johnny got sick of Hell and decided to raise an army in order to LIVE AGAIN. I like to think that the verse "I don't think I'm ready to leave" is what the Devil has told him and the rest of the song is about putting Johnny back into his place. It also may be the fact that Johnny wanted to live again and the moment he took Hell over was the moment he had to leave but he realised he doesn't want to. I also like to think that there's this thing og "You can't kill what's never been alive" - that's why the Devil is immortal. It would be cool to kind of... connect it with the entire story of revolution in this album.
It seems that theb oys plan on doing a video for most of the songs (if not for all of them). Like they've started a story in "Machines" so... yeah... just wanted to share this. :)

I would imagine the music video for this, at the opening it would have a massive CGI shot of hell, with David shouting hellishly at the camera, or Johnny, or whatever. And towards the end he'd be angrily ripping Satan's head off with his bare hands in a battle to the death, while all of his resistance brethren are cheering him on.
Not only are there stories within each album but Johnny's stories are through multiple albums! So unique and cool.
