Rubbing his face with a once beautiful handkerchief, an air of irritation around him, the orc muttered a few curses that would make a frill sergeant blush.
"Always with the damn alpacas" Raev muttered, making sure none of the spit got on his tusks.
Truth was quick to interrupt, it's eyes glowing with each word coming from the warforged's "mouth".
"Next time I would suggest that you don't pet them so intently and passionately, contrary to their form they are not akin to sheep. They're gonna fight bac-"
"I wasn't petting them! I was just....swatting away a spider. Don't want someone's merchandise to be hurt..." Raev lied despite knowing it would not convince the construct, he still had his pride to protect though
Looking around at his surroundings, slowly coming to, he did actually appreciate the city's presence, despite his hate for livestock. The People's Sanctum was the largest city in the world, and even better, it belonged to no nation. People from all walks of culture came here, the seafaring Nudheimers, the Samurai of the Pale Swamps, the Tiandi of the Celestial Dynasty, and more he couldn't even pronounce, all here to spread their art and craft.
Truth snapped him back to attention, seeing he was lost in the majesty of it all.
"Don't forget why we are here, Raev."
Truth waved battle plans and smuggler intelligence in front of Reav in some form of
reminder.
"The Adertos would love to annex a place like this and make it a bureaucratic nightmare, perhaps even like Leviathan's Last. We need to stay focused on the task at hand."
This was all too true, the majesty of such a town would easily be crushed by one's such as the Death Knights. There was even word that they had captured Edesian royal children. If so a bounty like that would set them for life.
It wouldn't be so easy, Raev thought to himself, any one of these people could assume the worst from them. He did not want to have to fight off a whole town.....

Donning a full suit of mail that covered him from his forehead to his ankles, a knight handed over a sack of bread to a very disgruntled dwarf.
"Damned snakes! Can ah nae gie a body day whaur some bleedin' theif makes aff wi' me produce! Eh, guess it doesnae matter noo. hain it ower, woods ye?
Withdrawing the sack from the dwarf for a short moment, a hint of deviousness sparks in Briian's mind
"About that, you do know I have to come down here almost every day. Most times getting in some trouble with my boss for leaving my station. Perhaps if...oh..you know...maybe next time some of the produce goes missing.....into my stomach"
A flash of anger appeared across the dwarf's face
"Ye hink ye can jist blackmail me?! in me ain shop nae less! why I ootta-"
"So, would you rather start to rely on the elven patrol to get back your goods? I mean...I don't want to start anything but they seem pretty pretentious to me, would be a real shame if they saw you constantly needing their help"
"Braw braw! tak' it ye dunderheided bas, juist dinnae gang telling a'body"
With a smug grin forming on his face, he strode out of the bakery with a bag full of bread and a somewhat full stomach. Now all he needed was some marrow....
The sun shone down into the shaded market, combining with the cool autumn winds to make a blissful equilibrium of warmth. The trademark clink of gold and the clasping of hands was ever common in the city, yet even with all this wealth so close there were those who could not pay for a crumb.
Briian looked on at the beggars, and right back at his stomach. A few seconds passed before he made his decision, and tossed the bag to the hungry men and woman. Guess he'll have to do the same thing next time...he almost felt sorry for the dwarf.
“Across all the seven islands, I’d never seen such a city! A burly dragonborn here, a wizened drow, and more mysterious folk as I continued towards the windmill on the hill. Finally reaching the top and looking out across the town, I swear I saw colors I didn’t know existed, staring wide-eyed as the host of travelers, merchants, and festival workers bustled about below. What a wondrous, cosmopolitan haven!”

I'm an author and I often write stories with friends where we both own a character each and we just write and write and write using our each individual characters only, and we recently started a story in the middle east and I know NOTHING about eastern and specifically arabic and islamic cultures, and this ambience helps me so much when im researching. It puts me in the moment, in the mood, inspires me all day long and its so... it doesn't distract me like music does because it has no words for me to sing along to when im trying to read, but it also reminds me of- well, the ambience, ahaha. I only found this channel a few days ago but it has helped me so much already, and I cant wait to see what you bring to the table in the future. Oh also, I really liked the nonsensical voices that do not really say anything. I hope you're well!

One thing I would recommend (incase you were looking for suggestions) would be some more real-life horror ones. Like a third-world prison where you would hear dripping water, guards laughing, a prisoner screaming.

The conversation in like... Fantasy Norse gets my attention every time, but my favorites are the little trilling gremlin voice and the loud thing that just goes "OM" at one point.
