The best AI replay Ive seen on yr so far! So much interesting dynamism and twists, amazing dramatic world war of the two equal empires in the end (unlike many replays in which one power snowballs from beginning)
My favorite plot twists were sudden rise of Brazil, Huns miraculously defeating Arabia basically with one unit, and the Japanese assault on China when everything seemed lost...
...and then Chinese upgrade all their army to Chu Ko Nu. Double shoot crossbowmen. Plus their GG ability. While Japan is yet in classical era.They were so hopelessly screwed.
Very deserving win of China, yet very good performance of Huns, Byzantium and Brazil.

van der Heist Yeah, battering rams are ridiculous. Btw if you are playing the huns and your warrior gets a unit promotion ruin, the battering ram can 1 shot a weak city state early on, so you can easily get a free city

If you look closely their knights did. But china focused berlin and ran past deli for some reason. So japan just focused those and they trolled like this for turns.

Daniel Duncan At some point in the game, the AI calculates that Arty have the lowest production cost, are therefore faster to build and get out, and Huns have a sizeable siege bias IIRC because of the early game rams. So they overproduce them at the cost of all sense.
Arty cannot take cities, has no melee strength, and bombards units for very poor damage. GG
So many amazing things about this video

@@encycl07pedia- there is a setting for total elimination that you have to kill all units to eliminate a civ. you will find it ok advanced start up menu

Wow. China would have won so much easier if they had built melee units rather than Crossbow-mass, but if Attila hadn't raised every city he captured he would have probably won given he would have had more strength to abuse the delay in Chinese growth... wow.
There was a moment when China has idiotically delayed finishing Japan by the lack of melee units, but besides that CKN were the main reason of their spectacular victory over Japanese and survival until total win. I love when AI accomplishes something with its unique units.
