player of the season is Declan Rice for me - he's been the outstanding Arsenal player over the entire season whereas City have Rodri, Foden & Silva all at a similar level and ditto Mac Allister, Van Dijk & Salah for Liverpool. Young Player of the season has to be Cole Palmer - has any young player carried a team to this extent in their debut season before?

Pretty sure the Bella Ciao thing comes from it's use in the Netflix show Money Heist (Casa del Papel) and has nothing to do with it's origins as an Italian antifascist song. IIRC, that was the reason Elseid Hysaj gave when the ultras went tonto after he sang it as his initiation when he signed for Lazio.
