- What is up with the Fried chicken? Lol. Taken back with yet another great track! Queen here really just had fun. . Thank you to all of you for your comments giving me great videos, songs to react to. I have explored their music further and I REALLY appreciate their grit, and desire to create actual music. Brian was yet amazing with his Red Special. John doing what he does best, and Freddie being himself. BUT hats off to Brian, the drum beats here were spectacular. Real 80`s vibe to the entire track, bit of disco thrown in. Amazing.

Can't stop watching Queen's reactions. This band is so unpredictable, special, powerful and talented. Everything we see is almost 40 years old. Unbelievable that it all seems like today's best performances. Their live performances are much better than today's technical capabilities allow. Thanks for the great reactions!

You should watch the short documentary on One Vision. Just a little longer than this extended one. Freddie was giving Roger instructions on how the drums would sound better by doing this that and another. I found it so amazing that Freddie, who wasn’t a drummer, was giving insight on how the drums should be. Freddie was an amazing musician and most of their arguments were because he was such a perfectionist that it drove the others crazy at times because every note had to be perfect.
You would enjoy seeing this song live. They opened the 1986 Wembley concert with One Vision and the guitar was amazing in the live version. Great song.

In the 19 minute One Vision Documentary, they show all of them trying to come up with a rhyming word to vision, decision, solution, etc. And fried chicken got brought up 😂😂😂😂. It’s a cool little documentary.

Queen was so great to work with...that’s probably why Reinhold Mack (the producer) and his wife had Freddie and John Deacon be the godparents to their son that Freddie named John Frederick.
You definitely need to review the making of One Vision...it shows the band in the process if finalizing lyrics and Freddie trying to get a certain drum sound from Roger. It shows how genius the band is and is very entertaining. One Vision was inspired by Martin Luther King's I Have A Dream speech.

Your reaction to the final line cracked me up. 😂 Yep, you heard it right. Everyone was hungry and playing around, so Freddie started singing the whole Chinese food menu. You should react to the One Vision documentary where you can see some of that. It's both hilarious and very interesting. Freddie's boyfriend, Jim, loved the fried chicken line so encouraged the band to keep it. Freddie said they wouldn't but surprised him with it when the album came out.

So typical of Queen and Freddie. At their most serious, they can't resist adding a lighter touch. In Jim Hutton's book, he said that Freddie was unsure about leaving in "fried chicken" and that Jim said he thought he should, it was funny, and so he did.

I just recommend you may want to watch Under Pressure too, it is a duet of Freddie and David Bowie. Freddie also does one of his most amazing high notes on that Song. (Video Title *_Queen & David Bowie - Under Pressure (Classic Queen Mix)._* that is an Video mix of David Bowie and Freddie singing the Song live but they sadly were never live TOGETHER on stage, so it is just a mix Video but a great one AND It is the same Original Studio song version.) Freddie rarely did the high note live and also he didn't sing with David Bowie live that's why I say you should watch the Studio Version instead of Live. Normally they are Live better but Under Pressure is my only exception. Under Pressure has really deep lyrics and fits to today's situation... Keep in mind that I also don't request these, I just recommended them if you are interested in seeing them.
If you watch it live watch the David Bowie and Annie Lennox version. Annie sings Freddy's part perfect in my opinion.

Oh and since you like the drums in this one, look up "Queen One Vision Live multicam Roger Taylor" it's the one that is a little over 5 minutes long, they do this song, but the cam is focused mainly on Roger from behind and you can see him drum it up close. It's amazing.

Freddie tried coming up with words at the end and began naming types of food, mostly Chinese. He decided to eliminate all but Fried Chicken!

They're sound engineer, Reinhold Mack, who happens to live in Munich, Germany; said that Queen and even Freddie Mercury doing his solo album we're all geniuses. Freddie Mercury said the same about Mack lol Reinhold Mack said years later after Freddie Mercury passed away that he really missed working with Queen because they always knew what they were doing. In the 1990s later on and 2000 or so these record labels were sending him bands and solo singers that had no Talent, BUT Mack was supposed to make them sound good.
Once you see the documentary for this and you see how Reinhold Mack just laughed at them for acting like goofballs..
I think Reinhold Mack deserves a lot more credit. I'll keep a mental note of producer's going forward. Thank you.

Afther that, in the rights sessions, the freddie's lover told to him "Com'on freddie, you're famous enough, i think you should leave that fried chicken at the end"... and so, he did it

HAP3SPEAKZ in the video of the making of One Vision, Freddie sings that part right at the beginning, he almost just speaks it. I took me a long time to figure out what it was and actually sounded kind of creepy to me until I realized that’s what it was. The documentary of the making of One Vision shows him saying it. It’s a great way to see them work together on their music and isn’t a long video but well worth watching♥️

I have no idea. I have explained in some of my earlier reactions. I wasn't a Queen fan or have claimed to have been. My innocent approach into their music is testament to their musical gift! Hence my reactions and perhaps those of others. It does upset me knowing FM is not singing today, but the music will live on forever. 🍗🥁🎶

They were huge perfectionists, especially Freddie, and you can see that in the documentary about making of this song. I know you don't want to react to documentaries now but this one is short and very funny and it's interesting to see how they were working.

It shows the band working in the studio, the song evolving and the guys joking around and arguing, it will also shed some light on the Fried Chicken. Freddie was singing a lot of nonsense about tits and turds and chicken feet. It’s really interesting. And if you love this song, you should see it live at Wembley. They opened the show with it, and by the time they launch into Tie Your Mother Down, the crowd has been whipped into a frenzy of excitement. It’s awesome!
It's always good to have some humor. These guys were pure geniuses. Shouldn't take yourself too seriously is what they are saying despite the song being very deep and about peace. Amazing. 🍗
