It's still unfair, though, and I wish people could look at them for what they are, throughout their entire career. Earlier pop punk bands HAD to have been influenced by them. "Life In General" especially, along with this song.

A lot of the early MxPx stuff was raw and had a social/political edge. Their music was rife with it. The album that "Punk Rawk Show" appears on is what I would consider to be very punk. This is coming from someone who considers Black Flag and Minor Threat to be some of the most punk groups out there.
