Never met a single person there that wasn't happy. I miss it. Spent a few months in Addis, giving technical advice to Ethiopian Airlines. Bole Road. Let's GO!!

Funny thing is Im Ethiopian-American and never knew we originated the harlem shake till researching it. I remember doing this as a child at weddings along with other children just to see who could get the most money. Lol
you don't need to do a research. They are giving them a reward (mostly a cash note). It is a common practice to stick a note on the forehead of the performer or just slip it under their dresses as you it in this video.
