It comes from the area when Congo, Angola and Zambia meet, a distance of 1000km from where this weak and shameful nonsense is being exhibited. The Makishi masquerade is a deeply religious ceremony, and in the 56 year history of Zambia, no one who is not Luvale, Luchazi, Tchokwe and Mbunda has ever dared to dorn a likishi costume. The Zimbabweans copied this from the Zambia National Dance Troop across the river and are milking it for commercial value. This is disrespectful and needs to be stopped. No one goes to the hills where the Shona bury their ancestors to impugne their resting place.
