    Hello Everyone, first sir thank you so much for solution thats was what I tought when I checked hose tempature was getting hotter, I immediatly see that air is blowing back, so I watched your video, and instead of opening a hole in device I rather opened a hole on hose (which is super easy to replace in case of need). You may stablise this comment so people can resolve it easier.

    You made my day.
    By your experiment I understand that the blower motor is much heavier than what it needs.
    One the solution is as you shown.
    Some other technical solutions are there
    1, reduce the power supply by using step-down transformer from 220v to 150v or 170v, this will reduce the airflow psi as well as heating issue.
    I think it will even work on 110v.
    2. Increase the winding of motor to slowdown rpm of the motor, in both these solutions the life of the motor also increases to twice or thrice, also it reduces the amount of consumption of electricity.
    Thanks for sharing such a great experiment.

    The airflow on the front side of the machine is sealed for a reason, it's because it needs to create pressure. If you can notice, the vents on the rear side of the machine is open and the vents on the front side is shut close, it's to create pressure. If you're gonna do this, it will surely improve the airflow and cool the machine, but also reduces the pressure of the air coming out of the nozzle. Do it at your own risk

    Not make any hole, just install a fan regulator to adjust blower motor speed and that's you made a air pressure control knob to this machine.

    • @MrDIYer
      @MrDIYer  Před 3 lety +2

      1. installing a blower motor resistor switch what you call a (fan regulator) will produce more heat. resistance produces more heat, and the more you slow down the motor the more heat resistance it will emit and because you slow down the fan, that heat will not be dissipated, hence more heat. 2. drilling a hole a is far more easier than installing a blower resistor motor that will produce more heat and you still need to find a a convenient area where you can place it. but if you want to complicate your life then go that route, by all means be my guess lol.
