Yes! This is the series I’ve been waiting for!! This is my favorite map from 17 and have been so excited to see it with all the upgrades from 19!! Thank you for playing this map Dagger. I can’t wait to watch you have fun on this map.
@@fan4493 Of course it reacts slow. Only one set of wheels are turning. With having the rear wheels steering, you run the risk of the load pushing the back end out on bends. Whether or not it handles better, it is far safer to have it on front steer only when towing and/or driving on the road.
This is best let's play series. Better than survival roll play. Do this series every day! And plant canola next in big field. And maybe do some BGA stuff.
that fendt sounds amazing, i drive one of these. You dont have to check the shop every time to see the hp of a fendt. It's really simple last two digits multiplied by 10, and you have the hp.
That's an estimation of the actual figure represented within the game. As the 1050 has 517 hp and 1165 has 646 hp. One is more than x10 and one is less. Precision.
Opinion: Yes, absolutely keep jump cutting. The fact that you keep it interesting actually makes it feel perfectly natural to watch your episodes in full. You also keep enough in not to make it feel like we as viewers miss anything, it definitely feels like we were there for the work done.
This map is based on an area called severn springs, between Gloucester and Cheltenham. Its very accurate! The pub opposite the burger van is called Severn Springs, its part of the Hungry Horse chain of pubs in the UK. The hexagon shaped building on the right as you go around the roundabout I think is a bus stop, and as you take the right towards Cirencester the large farm on the left is very similar to that on this map!! Sorry if you knew all this, its just weird and cool to see somewhere where you live in a video game!!
I think they’ve made the physics more realistic in 19, as I’ve found that the speed really drops taking the route that goes past Hill Top Stores to Field 1,2 &3
Your let's play of Oakfield farm on fs17 was the first series on FS that I'd watched on CZcams.. I'd been playing fs17 a couple of months at that stage, I've now watched every fs17/19 video you've produced and clocked up a worryingly large number of hours on my own saves!!! Many thanks for all your hard work keeping me entertained while commuting for over a year now! Here's to Oakfield 19!!!
Daggerwin - the markers are called "staddle stones". Now mainly decorative, they were originally used to support wooden grain stores. They stopped rats and mice getting into the stores to eat the grain!
Definitely like the jump cuts and not showing all the driving. Like having several workers for doing all the repetitive things, so more can get done, like taking care of the animals. Need to do more of the plowing and lime to increase productivity of the fields.
enhanced vehicle mod has diff locks 4wd handbrake and shuttle control daggerwin such a great mod to use and adds some realism aswell:) So glad there is gonna be another series on oakfield from you
Sometimes it's good to jump cut sometimes not u make great content plus it be longer lol even better jump cut if u want but I'm sure some would like to see extras lol keep it up great work I appreciate the time u put into it and once again 2 roleplays in a weekend outstanding sir thank ya
I'm no expert on telehandlers but I think the benefits of a articulated one and 4 wheel steer one are possibly the ground clearance the longer boom arm because the boom is attached at the back of the 4 wheel steer one it gives a better counter balance for longer reach the only down side to that is you have less view out the windows. The articulated one would have very good view out of the windows. Articulated one also tends to be used more for making silage pits and the 4 wheel steer for stacking.
You have "diff lock" on front axle if you boom out! The physics improves when using heavy front weight on tractors. The small "mushrooms" at entrance is still called Bollards. And this series awakes a lot of memories. Daggerwin doing a lot of searching for implements and tractors, but not this time then? :D
Yea, cuts are fine, I enjoy the timelapses as well. I have done some huge fields (in reality) in Western Australia where it can take 45 mins to do the first round, so I would have loved to timelapse the real world!
I really enjoy your survival roleplay and of course your other let’s play. It has that Agatha Christie feeling. Keep up the good work, great videos as always.
The manitou telehandler is used a lot down here is Australia for unloading building materials from the back of trucks in suburban construction sites as it's small and easy to turn in tight streets. Daggerwin keep up the great videos 🤙🤙
It makes some sense for Giants to not do everything imaginable from the start, because that's expensive, and could easily delay the product release. Waiting to see what becomes popular as a mod gives a better indication of what they might want to incorporate the next time around in a more in-depth way than doing a survey. People's actual behaviour doesn't always match surveys, and implementation details can be the difference between make or break.
Why aren't you using lime? Are you doing periodic plowing? If yes, then do lime at the same time please. Also, try once again to reach the 100% bonus for fertilizer, plow, and lime. Really good map in FS17, looks to be even better in FS19!
i just started this map too, I found the Alien Jim's buildings from Mercury farm ( now available separately from the map ) have great seed and fertilizer refill sheds that fit well in the style of the map and are cheap to erect at the yard making life a lot easier.
The mushrooms are staddle stones. They were used as a base for a floor and then a stack of hay/straw or a grain store were put on the floor. The idea was to keep the stored product dry and somewhat rat proof.
Omg YES!! watch out for the odd glitch that this map still has though. Especially the door you can’t walk though, no seed or fert filling and the invisible collision on the new track down side of barn in main farm.
In real life telehandlers aren’t very good for towing so I don’t think that speed was unrealistic considering the steepness at all. As for telehandler type the pivot steer ones can go round tighter corners as the 4 wheel steer ones still have the bucket that sticks out in front and swings out when you’re turning whereas on a pivot steer you can point the bucket in the direction you need to go (ie round the corner). Pivot steers are also often better on the silage clamp as they’re kind off halfway to a wheel loader. Some people also prefer one type over the other as you have two entirely different driving techniques for each of them when driving in real life. I know because I drive a matbro and an NC at work and 4 wheel steer Manitous at home
Telehandlers that aren't articulated seem to be often used (at least in my area) for construction companies to lift stuff round yards or up onto scaffolding
Daggerwin when u drill a field u should start with your centres and finish on your headlands just turning on your headlands in real life scars the field when it grows
Daggerwin you should do a classic to modern fs19 series. So you start with classic tractors and combines eg case 7200 new holland Tx combine fendt favourit. Then you finish with modern tractors and combines eg massey Ferguson agco challenger fendt. When you get a telehandler in any series you put the boom up. Good vids
I am SO glad you're back on this map!! I discovered your channel during your Oakfield series from 17 and it was that series that got me interested in playing FS
Love this map and your series before here, it's alittle confusing I couldn't find any animal triggers for the fields or the places they'd normally be aside from pigs, if someone could point me in the right direction that'd be awesome! Great video as always Dagwin lol

This so cool😀😀I just loaded my Oakfield map😀 and I was watching your Oakfield Fs17 let's play
metoo
You and Chainsaw100 should have separate farms and do a series on this map!!
Hopefully he sees this
I’m hoping that too! Thankfully there should be enough likes so that he does.
@@northernarctic8339 I want chainsaw 100 on the survival roleplay when daggerwin moves from letton and the horrible alex young
Ye good idea hope he sees this
Shadow company I know. But it would still be great to watch on 19.
Even if I have not had a bad day your videos make me happy thankyou Daggerwin
Your driving on the wrong side of the road for U.K. For a section of the vid then you corrected your self but I love your vids xx
He knows his thing... He IS from U.K..
@Allison Elliott oof!
I play the map that’s what I do I’m from America
This map in Farming Simulator 17 is what got me into farm simulator. It's so nice to have it back.🤗
A telehandler should be in front wheel steer mode when travelling on the road and towing.
Clunk no we never do that the handling in corners is realy bad with front wheel steering. The telehandler reacts slow to your input
@@fan4493 Of course it reacts slow. Only one set of wheels are turning.

I’ve never done that with my telehandler and I’ve been driving it for 2 year and have had no problems
Not only is it in the instructions for both Manitou and JCB telehandlers, it is also part of the training course.
And all in all, this is only a game...
This was my favourite series on farming simulator 17

So nice to be able to use 'start from scratch' and still have the buildings in the yard.

If u mean the survival roleplay
Then I think no
Its only a suggestion im sure daggerwin will have plans in place.

Loved this map and series in FS17. I always thought seasons is what made this series great.
Your 17 series is still the best you have, let's see if you can beat it 😁👍need seasons tho and claas

Looking forward to the extended length episodes! Wish we could get them for Mysslingen too!

Personally my two favorite things about FS19 because I am on console is the fact that there is John Deere and the upgraded workers.
Honestly love this map from fs 17 and have been waiting for this
Should have put a seed bag on the forks when going up the hill to balance the weight
Finally it's back, great video daggerwin great to see back on oakfield farm.
It's good to be back on oak field farm
Oakfield was my favorite series of yours, Glad its back but I wish be had seasons to accompany it again :(

Seed and fertiliser points aren't functional in FS19 and the water refill is located at the old fertiliser point.

Oakfield farm was you best series on FS17 and will hopefully be the best series on FS19.

You should change the speed units to MPH rather than KPH Dagger!
Hi Dagger,
Thanks for listening to the fans for longer videos! If there's a map that requires a diff lock mod it's definitely this one !
With artic loaders you sacrifice reach for maneuverability and are used more mucking our sheds like you said and small tight feed passages

I liked how the seed drill was rattling it fils like real life
