- I've downloaded a new mode for Car Mechanic Simulator 2021, the Mclaren. Sadly the car (even in the Junkyard) is super expensive! We're going to need to flip some cars and build up a war chest to buy the ruined McLaren and rebuild it...

It was all my fault, making you change that in game taa setting took out power for your city, ugh I feel so bad.

Another quick tip FYI = You can use the "A" and "D" keys in the shop to increase(or decrease) the item count/amount - I find it easier than using the mouse when buying things like spark plugs or rubber bushings. (The W,A,S,D keys also work when changing the letters/numbers, if you are creating a custom number plate as well)

Great streams. I'm playing mine without mods mostly. I did mod it for xp though. I figured I've been playing cms 15 and 18 so no need to start with slow part removal, movement etc. But I'm earning the money part.
Yeah the only mods I generally add are cars
Those carburetors was a performance part in cms 2015 and so was the air filters
I actually made it outside the walls on the speed track yesterday! Made it with the BMW M3 E30, around 330km/h and hit the handbrake going broadside into the wall and glitched out!
yep that happens iv jumped the wall and glitched through it.. turns out that 325mph kills the wall

At the salon, you use the kiosk to find the car you want.
Is there any way to see what you spent for replacing car parts of a bougth car?
Or do you need to keep track of that yourself? (so you know what your actual profit was)
It doesn’t keep tabs sadly. You have to just look at your starting and ending money total

No DLC’s are optional to add more cars
Sucks about the power. I got my Mclaren at the junkyard for $1.2 million. I washed it and spent $500 to weld it and I could have sold it for $3.9 million netting a profit of $2.7 million. I’ll finish it out though and see how much I can get.

@@CrypticFoxGaming So I had to sale the car without doing the engine. I spent over a million to do the body and I didn't have any money to fix the engine. I put back all the parts that I fixed and sold it for a little over $10 million with only an engine block. The body/tires/and interior looked good though. I'll find another one and finish it now that I have a ton of money to play with.
Sorry, correction, it was over $100K on the body. I thought I had enough since I had almost $200K but it wasn’t.

This is the first I've watched of this. Quick question. Is this game almost an accurate layout of disassembly / assembly of engines? Not that I have any intention. I've just always been a visual learner and this is awesome.
Relatively accurate in terms of parts location but there’s a lot of fine details not included in terms of fluid lines, gaskets, wiring, etc.
engine mechanics and most of the suspensions and exhaust system is fine. At least is enjoyable to see details to some extent about 16v engines and similar. They need to add as Fox said Fluid hoses, tubes and other connection peripherals. But that is a lot of work and too much details, game company would need to have a lot more developers and engagement to do that. Also if you ask me i would add ability to drive a car to destination and would add some small open world(city) where you could drive. It would add more immersion to drive your own restored personal car.
Timing and ignition timing
Are not realistic at all marks etc and you have to make sure your crank is at top dead (where every piston is at the top) on some cars it's slightly before this is why games can't recreate is super well
If only you could pick up bitches in your v8 over head cammed supercharged charger which looks like a big block 454 but I can't tell
