      Brother I have a 2008 accord as well 2.4 liter I watched your videos and I always been keeping up with maintenance I hear a cold start it’s the VTC actuator should I fix it or pay 800$ from the dealer to get it replaced I currently have 122K miles and the car has always been mainted please help

      @@michaelkimball1948 I read that you don't need to replace the whole actuator. You only need to change the spring inside the actuator. It is A LOT simpler to just change the spring than the whole actuator czcams.com/video/TvZfZHoUXq0/video.html

    Why did you change the coolant ? My car has been smoking lately(same mode) and I’m wondering if it’s related

      Anytime i buy anything used i do a full service so I have a starting point for maintenance. Also let's me know if anything is leaking.

      @@KReesethebeast something is leaking. a line behind the engine seems to be leaking engine oil

      @@israelthurman5358 yes these engines are known for an oil leak on the passenger side of engine (USA) which is the V-TEC solenoid seals in most cases. Mine has a slow leak as well.

      @@KReesethebeast do you think it could also be causing the faint smoke? Maybe just the heat of the engine burning the leaking oil?

    i have no idea if anyone will reply. so i add coolant to the reservoir then the radiator itself, run it to operating temp, top off if needed then run it one more time?

      You got it, run it and then check it may take a while to get all the air out

    what do you mea turn the heater On?
    what heater and when you said thats goi g to do the trick, what exactly is the trick?

      Turning the heater sends the coolant through the heater core and flushes the whole system.

      Turning on the heater circulates the coolant through the heater core

      No I left it open to let some of the air be expelled through the top of the radiator.

      @@franciscomelendez3398 the drain plug driver side very bottom left of radiator like it shows in this video.
      I didn't actually "remove" mine I just unscrewed it by hand until max flow of coolant was flowing out

      I just did it to get the air out, then put on before it runs out as the engine warms up.

      You can put it into a gallon milk jug or something similar and take it to autozone or advanced auto parts. They'll recycle it for free.
