Brad Pitt said, “On my last visit, I got to see a lot of India. There is no place like it. And it’s so diverse - both the South and the North, that one cannot get to see all of it in a couple of weeks. But I found Varanasi absolutely staggering. I have never seen anything like it before. The city just spills into the river Ganges. It’s a holy place where people go to die. It’s really, really extraordinary!”

Garud Puran book is read only when there is a death in the family. The book is usually not kept in the house. That is the common tradition but nowadays people are trying to explore the details in the book. It is very intense. It details out the kind of punishment one goes through for every kind of sin / bad deeds, the 'Aathma' commits. If you read it, it is very scary.
Garuda Purana is the text based on the conversation of Lord Vishnu (Shree Hari) and his vahana Garuda. Garuda asks the Lord about the punishment for bad deeds humans do on earth.

    Moksh is ultimate truth.
Moksha is the concept of ultimate freedom and liberation, central to Indian philosophy and religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. Also known as mukti, the term is derived from the Sanskrit word, mukt, meaning "liberation," "release" and "emancipation." It refers to the state of being released from the life - death cycle (samsara) and the limitations of a worldly existence.

There are many yogis, gurus, enlightened beings in our culture who have taken "SAMAADHI" by exactly telling when they are going to leave their body on their own will.
This is only possible if you have done some work on your body and have total control of senses and knowledge of inner working of the body.
When they know it's their time although healthy ,they just sit or lie down ,reduce their breathing and do some spiritual practices ,lo and behold after a few minutes only the body is left.
I was always fascinated by this and also how the nagas and yogis survive in Himalayas with no clothes ,although the temperature is in minus.

Don’t get too bogged down by these videos but one thing you must learn and follow - do good work; spread 💕; help fellow humans (at least don’t harm them). Leave the rest to God (Allah). If you fulfil your earthly commitments in a pious manner, your transit from this world would be painless because God will hold your hand. So far as visit to cremation ground is concerned (shamshan ghaat), you normally/usually don’t go there to enjoy but believe you me, a visit to the cremation ground makes you realise the transitoriness of existence and at the same time, it makes you aware that you are alive. This is totally different from what we practice in daily life ..it's story after death plus ..in our community we don't kill animals we actually buy cows at high rate and give her food and do seva ! The bali which shown in this video is tye culture of dom community , n that's the only community who handles death body or surrounded w death bodies not all hindus do this actually , it j happened at kasi from where u get "moksha"🕉️
I remember when I went to Varanasi i j went to the ghat where arti held but not these ghats where death bodies burnt its very overwhelming and not everyone can handle their selfs there but soon I'll to explore those as well it's scary tho but still

As per vedant, each living being of any form is actually relates to supreme consious being which we call GOD.
But we are not able to realize because of our physical form. When consiuos being transformed into any physical form, it will become trapped into samsara, the illusion.
The beings experience the samsara/maya with the limited senses and also it develops its own vasana/tendencies due to the qualities of its physical form.
