I have the older AC3200 version of this router. Gonna hang on till I have more wifi6 devices but this at the top of my list for when I upgrade.

How much is the range of the signal. How many feet away to get decent speeds?

Nice unboxing! I'm thinking of getting one. What I'm seeing and reading is mostly good things and leaps and bounds into the future from my EA9200 linksys which drops me from the 5GHzz way too often and even needs a restart to clear whatever junk is clogging it. One question I have is with my 150Mbps ISP service speed are there modems needed to match the capabilities or am I good for the near future?

I currently own a Verizon G100 which is a modem and a router in one, that plugs into a coaxial connection on the wall. Since the AX6000 is just a router, what modem do you recommen that I get to use with this router? TY

How has this router been? I bought the Netgear R8000P and it is awful. It will not do firmware updates. Netgear won't fix the issue either. I was a netgear fan for years and now looking to jump ship and saw this AX6000. Is it worth it? I want something that can handle 3500 sq feet of range. Wifi 6 for my PS5. And just an easy interface to tweak settings. I run about 22 devices. Will this work?

Yeah this will be fine for gaming. Gaming routers are largely just marketing.

Good video, would have been great if u didn’t say the same thing for almost 2 or 3 mins. And if u actually showed it working. But I’ve had this since it came out and it is great. I have a huge home and it covers mostly the whole house. The one part is doesn’t cover is covered with walls of brick and metal. But got an tp link ac2600 extender and now that room gets great WiFi with no lag in gaming or streaming. This router truly is amazing.

If you one of those individuals that monitors logs, this router is not for you. This router lacks basic log monitoring such as firewall logs, should have stayed with Asus much better. Hoping for a good firmware update to address these issues. The only logs available is traffic monitoring and not very good at that, will not monitor one months worth of data. In short worthless minimal logging.

"DOS Protection" feature is NOT actually included in this model or any models that has the HomeCare feature. I guess they removed it coz I still found it listed as included in the Archer AX6000 in one of their FAQs in the TP-Link site. IFTTT integration was also removed. I also found one confirmed big security concern on this router that I won't mention here. I feel the current MSRP of this router is too expensive for what's actually included. Too much hype. :-(
