The RUKO isn’t bad, but I just tested the Potensic Atom and there’s a clear difference in the resolution that one is able to achieve. The problem with that one is it has no y-axis stabilization, so tradeoffs with both.
That's good to hear. I don't hear of many folks that have this drone, but I was really impressed with it. Image quality could be better, but it's not too bad. The follow me is surprisingly good.
Awesome Review, I am excited to get mine in tomorrow. You left out the best feature of this drone it can provide Stable FPV on phone up to 3km via Wi-Fi which will allow me to plug in my Nreal/Xreal Air Glasses to Fly around in FPV 😉👌 which is Awesome! The Recent drone I purchased, Potensic Atom SE is Amazing but, due to using a USB-C cable plugged into the controller it won’t allow me to use my Nreal/Xreal Air Glasses which, is a bummer. Using these glasses is much better than having a bulky headset on your face. 😎👍
I was looking at the screen shot of your app on your phone at the beginning of your video and I didn't see at the top that it showed the amount of available satellites on the screen like mine does. Does your app show you the number of satellites?
You already know the old adage, "we get what we pay for." It's definitely a fun beginner's drone. I wouldn't use it for anything other than land surveillance.
Hey bro. Great video! Recommend any drones with great video quality and that can follow me from the front. I know that most of them can follow from behind, but the problem with that is, the audience cant see who's being recorded.
I will be buying that Drone next week. I've been research in this drone very much in the past few months. I think it's a good Drone. I'm a Electronic Engineer and I'm not in DJI fan boy. I also repair and can reprogram Drones. I can't wait to get this Drone. 😊
This is exactly why I like to test out non-DJI drones. Folks may be into other drones for a variety of reasons. This is a pretty good one. Being able to tinker with them is a big plus as well.
Image follow is just like spotlight mode on other drones. It’s like putting a camera on a tripod that tracks you GPS follow - follows the controller which is a good thing. DJI drones only track cars and people (no agriculture equipment). This RUKO drone follows anything
@@GadgetInspector I will agree with that. One of my drones is an Autel Robotics Evo II Pro Enterprise V3. It cost me $3,700 + tax (on sale - now $4,000). I've been having issues with the flight modes. It spent over a month in the shop already because Dynamic Track and Orbit didn't work. Just got it back yesterday and it still can't orbit (pivots on its own axis). Been testing it all morning and it has problems getting up to top speed (45 mph) and staying there. Getting a DJI Air 3 next Friday. Looking forward to that, but more of my time this week will be with the RUKO. My package had 3 batteries plus I had another from a previous F11 Gim 2 that ran away and was found a month later. It lost signal at only 1,420 feet and tried to return home, but I had the height set too low and it ran into a tree and fell to the ground. The local US Dept. of Agriculture found it and gave it to me. They knew it was mine because I had to get permission from them to fly on their 800 acre property.
Hello just took me F11GIM2 for its first flight and the wave point was hard to get for me, do you have any suggestion for me , i set the points and the i pressed go and it fly off out of range of the set circle i think... help me if you can.
I love it. I have the gim2 with the updated controller. I feel the same way about the video playback quality. I have a 4k sd card, follow all of the recording protocols and when I upload the playback quality is definitely not 4k. Please help!
I just use the SanDisk 128gb card in mine and I have really great video play back. I also get the videos on my Android phone and can upload them from my phone with great quality.
I feel it has the same camera as the holy stone hs720g. almost exactly actually and i believe that drone is cheaper. i cant say i have tested any automated features on that drone however so it could be a toss up
I would agree until i was able to get better quality photos and videos once i changed my settings on my phone to best possible settings. And purchase a SD extreme 4k card as well as for the drone. Now the quality is ten times better. I put up a short video on my page. But again it really does depends on where you and position of your antennas and how much wifi traffic and electromagnetic interference in set area. I've had crappy videos and very good videos. But you get what you pay for. Which is also why i am saving to get the exo Blackhawks pro 2. I just can't go DJI only because everyone has one. The fan base reminds me of Dallas Cowboys fans 😂🤪😂🤪. Meaning if you don't have a DJI you ain't ish type of energy and attitude 😂. I want to be different and go with another brand. Ruko and exo was my choice lol. But i use DJI to learn and educate myself. At end of the day. They all run the same. Just all have different personalities and qualities that make them all stand out in different ways. DJI drones you're limited because they have alot of no fly zones. Pacifically to DJI 😂. Whereas other drones can fly anywhere within reason not breaking the laws of course. I went to a drone park with a friend. She was pissed i was clear to fly lol. Her DJI was restricted LMAO 🤣. Wouldn't even take off. She was so mad. Nevertheless yeah DJI may be the best. But I'm not a copy cat. Lol 😂. I purposely went against the grain lol
@@Quis85 honestly get the caddx vista and a beta elrs receiver to put on whatever quad you like. much better than any pre built drone out there and you wouldn't have to worry about being a copy cat while spending about the same amount of money (assuming you have the rest of the accessories to fly it). the problem there being ease of use. target audience for this drone was someone looking for a hobby drone without needing to worry about quality. my comment was simply to point out camera quality is comparable to that of the holy stone drone i have. yes the phone will be lesser quality because it records 1080p while sd card will record 4k. camera doesn't warrant 4k however as the colors are incredibly inaccurate, chromatic aberration is atrocious at best and they are generally terrible at setting the correct iso, shutter speed, ect with little control of those settings for the end user. i believe that is the issue i would also have with the drone in this review from the looks of it and sadly costs as much as a drone that has far superior capabilities

@@Quis85 lol it was not a stab at ya. just stating the drone is over priced for the performance it gives. sadly, the reason dji has so many followers is because they get the features right. if i can find an american alternative that can do the same things just as good if not better, i would jump on it in a heartbeat but they dont. the closest competitor is autel but instead of focusing on the community and what they ask for and improving their drones, they instead have press conferences talking about how much money they have and how much their company has grown while spending millions lobbying the government to get the competition banned. ill support free commerce and capitalism but paying the government to pass laws to get other better hardware away from the markets really doesnt seem like a company that i want to invest my money in. i also dont want to put my money to a company that has mediocre hardware and overprice it just because it is american. if they want my money, make the hardware good. as for you saying dji fanboys, this has nothing to do with dji. if autel comes out with a good drone, ill back up autel too. until that day, ill get the best drone for the job. and no it isnt dji. it is a custom carbon fiber frame with axis flying motors and a curstom controller so i can fly like a jet plane. camera drones are boring
Well i will say and even though it's small issues. Having this drone myself. There's a lot of little dumb but makes a lot of sense things with this drone lol. Meaning. You never pulled out your antenna 🤪🤣. FPV feeds would've came out a lot better. As well as when you started to go the distance. Lol. Also with this drone. It tells you the electromagnetic interference levels which also will effect FPV and connection to the drone. I forgot the actual number to look for to know if you need to love to a different area or stay out. But it's all on the manual. I put up a video on my page and you will see video quality and picture quality is awesome depending on signal strength and where you are that set day. Learning as i go. I also have the Ruko f11 Gim. But of course i used the updated one more lol 😂. All in all yes it's not the more expensive drones but unless you're willing to to over 1000.00 dollars ruko drones are a good substitute. I will say I've gone the distance and without a range booster i was able to get almost the max. I think that's due to the area. I was in a residential area. But with a range booster para Yagi antennas booster i got full distance in then some. After cancelling return to home. I'm going out of town couple month. Will be in a country like town. Which means less interference. I'm going to try without the range booster. I also will say. If you have car garage five stories high or high rise. You will get better connection. I've been to the casino 😂. And had a few flights before going inside to try and win some money. But yeah higher you are better reception IF YOU ARE IN A RESIDENTIAL/CITY AREA. Because everyone using WiFi so yeah you want less wifi traffic if you can. But i love this drone. I am saving to get the exo Blackhawks pro 2. But I'm satisfied with ruko f11 Gim 2.
@@GadgetInspector man ole man i am. I finally had my first real actual problem. Which i think it's a app issue. But it crashed on me. When i was trying to get back in the air. I let ruko know about it. They are looking into it. So we will probably have another app update soon. But I've not tried to fly again. This happen yesterday. I'll see if it works sometimes today. But yeah I'm loving it. True enough. We could do better with a DJI. But I'm not paying that much money lol. Plus they have a lot of NFZ with those drones. I like the freedom i have with this drone to fly. My co worker has a DJI. And we went to park to fly. I was clear to fly. She was not 😳. Weird situation. But yeah.
Pretty sure I have never seen a CZcams video start out like my favorite TV Show with a rundown of the previous episode. Ingenious! Keep it up.

The big difference that I see is that the video quality is better than my SJRC F11 also you did a really good job with demonstrating the features GI.

Seems a nice drone, but I don't like how it constantly drops connection with GPS. I don't see you experience that issue with the p atom se
Putting your phone in airplane mode helps a lot, but you’re right, the Atom SE has a better gps module.

Honestly, if you want really good follow me I'd grab one of the advanced drones.
You can use the circle mode and trim it down to the distance you want.
Great video! In follow me mode, can you have it stay in front of you while you are walking? Do it moves ahead of you.
Yep, I believe I showed that in the video. You have to be in GPS follow.

As long as you’re in adequate light, the follow me on this drone works as well if not better than some of the more expensive advanced drones.

My only issue with this drone is the battery life. Its like 15 min of play time. Its still new. But love the drone. Any suggestions?

I tried to GPS follow at night. I had a bright light on me but the drone decided to crash into a pole lol

The video quality will be better if you use an SD card.

Atom se is a lot better for the price
It just doesn’t have a gimbal.
