A movie was planned but they decided a series worked better and Renner agreed.

@@Adam-082 He's not being replaced in my eyes, he's more so passing on the mantel. He's human, not immortal nor invincible, he's old and has a life to live with his family. And they really displayed that when Billy called him when Clint got his hearing-aid broken, asking when he was coming home.

1:54 He is SO right. One of the best parts of the MCU is the interconnectedness. That's why that scene in Wandavision where everyone returned gave me chills - I saw Hulk snap half the population back, but now I get to see how it personally affected some characters. I get to see what it was like to experience that.
I know this episode of Hawkeye involved the battle of New York, but imagine seeing a few shots of one or some of the Eternals as they just stand by and watch the events of Infinity War, just as they did for every other tragedy....
Druig fuming that he can't make the Black Order and the Chitauri army stop with his powers (yes I know he was living very far away from Wakanda but still...); Sprite standing by Sersi's side as her heart breaks at all the carnage and her inability to help, terrified that Dane will disappear too; Ikaris wanting to help but also just feeling massive indifference towards the result of the battle - even though he knows Sersi probably feels very differently; Kingo watching his cast and crew members fade away. Ajak sensing the chaos and holding fast, doing nothing.
Then, later, Phastos wanting to help rebuild the world's infrastructure after half of its humans disappeared, since workers and parents and politicians (etc) all disappeared and messed up the way the world works. Makkari blissfully unaware as she waits in the Domo to return to "Olympia," and Gilgamesh trying to calm Thena because she is suffering from another mind-weary episode, caused by the enourmous and traumatic energy from the Snap.
Man.
If only the eternals was a show i like the movie but it would be way better for a show with alot better character development, and character arc's

Also, one thing I like is that whenever I feel like a movie has failed to deliver on something, one of the next properties will probably address it better since they prefer to remain focused on a few things, and then branch out later on. I like that aspect a lot

I'm up to episode 2 right now and I love how they're already developing Clint and Kate's dynamic. Kate still has a lot to learn but she also has her own skills that even surprises Clint's cynical ass lol. Also she can give him sass right back and I'm glad to see they got that part so far. I read the Matt Fraction comics back in the day and it feels like they're bringing it to life in the MCU. Especially loving the tracksuit mafia lol, *HEY BRO!!*

I think the step father killed Armand with the Ronin sword he stole from the auction. Armand told him during the auction that "he couldn't afford 300k" for the sword and later on Kate asks the step father about an inheritance. The step father used the Robin sword because the murder would be attributed to Ronin since he was seen in public that same night, and would get the blame for the incident (as we see on the news). Also I think the mother is in on it. She keeps playing dumb, but she's always wearing red dresses which is setting off my spider senses cus they've done similar color themes with Marvel characters before they revealed their identity before. Also, when Armand was threatening the mother while Kate was listening he said "I have powerful friends too." That's suspicious to me. I know nothing about this comic or characters, but I'm going to guess the mother and step father were part of a crime syndicate that Armand was also in on (because that would fit with the theme of Ronin/Hawkeye fighting mob characters) and are going to be the main antagonists. This is my prediction.

No, the Skrulls were the ones who infiltrated the clean-up/salvage just to get the blood/DNA. There was already a salvage crew to begin with.

Apparently, this was in December 2024, and it was 14 months after Hawkeye kinda lost his hearing because of the loud noises when the Avengers Compound got destroyed by 2014 Thanos' Sanctuary ship. So he got a hearing aid.

One thing that annoy me is that i've seen reactors call Kate a Mary Sue because they miss the intro credits scene for episode 1, which shows her growth over the years and that she wasn't good at the beginning, she trained for years and got all the medals and trophies, which is amazing in itself.
Edit: Also, Kate is kinda clunky in her fight scenes, not at the level of other experienced fighters, but she can definitely hold her own, that doens't mean she doesn't get hit, she does.
And the fact that those reactors say that she didn't receive much damage, is because she was wearing the Ronin suit, which for what i've seen, allows agility and durability.
Let me guess the reactors who called Kate Bishop a Mary Sue is the Normies right? When I watched their reaction on episode 3 , they did it again by labeling her that, I lost respect for those reactors and dislike their video
