No bro. They are refugees, they always migrate to somewhere else. Why are you proud of them? They are coming to europe step by step just like this and raiding Europe
I thought he was going to say they left the boat and swam for their lives but nope. They managed to swim for three hours in the unpredictable waters *whilst pulling a boat* and bring everyone to safety. Absolutely incredible people

It's not an ocean, it's a sea in which there are many island just a reminder but that doesn't take away the fact that they are Incredible persons and heroes
Yeah it’s in a movie. These two girls left their family and successfully reached a plsce where they found a man who offered to guve them his boat, that man scammed them and there were too many ppl on the boat so it started sinking and the two girls along other ppl jumped out of the boat to not make it sink Saw the whole thing at school ^^
The thing is they didnt cross the entire agean sea, the sea between turkey and greece instead they swam to a small greek island that is off the coast of turkey. Then once they got on that island they wouldve went to mainland greece on a ferry then they wouldve went to whatever country that wanted to go to. It's still impressive though
Why they didnt went from Syria to Turkey, Turkey literally takes much immigrant as possible for political reasons. Also I am glad that Greek naval patrol didnt opened fire at them. One time my father was in a Turkish boat for some touristic reasons. The radar of ship was glitched so they didnt realised they were in Greek water so even though ship was just a unarmed touristic ship the Greek naval patrol opened fire, gladly no one got hurt.
Nope, Turkey sends their immigrants in Greece ILLEGALLY, small portions every time, or turks sell syrians as slaves by themselves. Turkey, no1 at crimes

Sadly, the boat not working in the middle of the ocean is not that rare. It happened to my father, but he luckily knew how to swim. When the rest of my family including me immigrated the boat worked though, we always had to be careful of police catching us, otherwise we would’ve been sent back to turkey. We could’ve stayed in turkey (which we did for a few years) but we didn’t get paid enough. We couldn’t have a good life there so my parents decided to go to Germany. All I can say is, I’ve experienced a lot since my childhood like for example: sleeping outside, in refugee camps and more. I’m always thankful now for being here in Germany and having a bed to sleep on, and enough food to eat. This is luxiorous for us, since we were born in war. (Sorry for my English btw 😅)

once they arrived to Germany it was very hard for them to find shelter and once they did it was awful they were like 5 in a room and there were kids running around and at night they couldn't sleep and all they wanted was to ask for like their family to come therr with some paperworks since one of the girls was a minor but it took so long for the paperworks that she turned 18 and couldn't
she found a way to start swimming again with a coach that belived in her and provided her and her sister a shelter and after a lot of work she went to the Olympics for her country
But since this was a real story after the movie finished they told us what appended after: the sister who didn't go to the Olympics spent her life trying to help those who made the same decision of escaping from their country but was sadly arrested for this but not before reuniting with her family this film was from a few years ago and i don't know if she's still in jail of if she got out but she did help a lot of people becoming a real life hero
