  • Sevilla is the capital and largest city of the Spanish autonomous community of Andalusia and the province of Seville. It is situated on the lower reaches of the River Guadalquivir, in the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula.
Seville is approximately 2,200 years old. The passage of the various civilizations instrumental in its growth has left the city with a distinct personality, and a large and well-preserved historical centre.
María Luisa Park is the first urban park in Seville and one of its green lungs. In 1983 it was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in the category of Historic Garden. It was inaugurated on April 18, 1914 as the Infanta María Luisa Fernanda urban park.
The Plaza de España is an architectural complex located in the María Luisa Park in the city of Seville. It was designed by the architect Aníbal González. It was built between 1914 and 1929 as one of the main constructions of the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. It is the largest building of all those that were built in the city during the 20th century, comparable to the other two outstanding historical constructions outside the city walls.
